Absolutely adored our (short but sweet) stay! It was just what we needed, and Janet was amazingly accommodating and responsive to our questions. Would absolutely stay again and for longer if we are ever back in the area!

Groton Forest Retreat

EvanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Alan and Kirsten's place is magical! Its location in Groton State Forest makes it an ideal retreat, with miles of trails to explore and brilliant starry night skies. It's also amazingly convenient if you want to explore Vermont, as Montpelier, Stowe, St. Johnsbury and the Northeast Kingdom are all within easy reach. After a day of roving around on scenic roads, we loved getting back to the warmth of the pellet stove and cozying up with a jigsaw puzzle. Alan and Kirsten are delightful people and fantastic hosts. We had a great time during our visit in late autumn, and I'm sure it would be fantastic any time of the year. We're already scheming to make a return trip!

Moon Valley Country Retreat no clean fee pets yes

DannyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cozy cabin that has everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The wood stove was a lovely centerpiece that kept us warm through frigid weather. There were tabletop games to play, and there was Starlink for wifi. As others have mentioned, the water seems rich in minerals and does have a sulferic smell. We came to the area specifically to enjoy Saratoga natural springs, so the water at the cabin being unique was welcomed. I recommend procuring the State Seal spring water as a fun activity, if you like a clear taste. Saratoga Springs is an hour away with Lake George being about half an hour, so there is plenty to do.

Historic Carriage House-20 Min to Okemo-Cozy Stay

SusanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a beautiful example of Old Vermont! We all slept well and the place had what we needed for a pleasant stay. Just a note: If you have limited cell service and can't get the QR code for the guest guide to load, you'll need to loo for little blackboard-like placards with the wifi access information on them. We didn't see them right off.

Bolton Landing - Cozy Adirondack Cabin Home

KarolRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent a beautiful, snowy night here, and were entirely warm and comfortable. The host messaged us with details on everything about how to get in, and how to get around inside the cabin. The flexibility about check-in was really considerate, given that we were trying to get there while the weather was still good. My husband made a fire in the stove as soon as we checked in, and we were able to mirror our IPad to their Samsung TV within seconds, and watched our favorites while having dinner. The bathroom was super clean and tidy, and the ladder to the loft bedroom was very sturdy, with excellent railings so we had no trouble going up and down. The Pinnacle hiking area is less than a mile down the road, and although it was foggy and snowy the day we hiked, it was a great option for a close-by activity, with what usually would be a spectacular view.

Great stay by the lake, a 5-10 minute walk from many restaurants and cafes in Magog! However, we were woken up by the train that passes right beside the Airbnb both days.

Prickly Mtn. guest house - funky cool place

SydneyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved our stay at the guest house! It was perfectly advertised. A peaceful escape in the mountains. A fun unique cabin experience. There are lots of windows for the beautiful scenery but also no shades or drapes on one side of the house which felt a little fishbowl at night. Overall it was a fun experience and we would recommend!

Sunset Heights: stunning view, surrounded by lakes

DanielleRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a lovely stay at Sandra's spacious accommodations with lovely views of the Barton valley area and the distant mountains with sunset views. It was just like a perfect Vermont postcard. We enjoyed the views out of every window with the golden leaves still on the surrounding trees. The lower level of Sandra's place is like staying in a presidential suite. Everything was clean and modern with a well equipped large kitchen and dining area. If you are looking for looking for a great place to stay in the North East Kingdom that sleeps up to four guests, look no further and book it. We just wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the outdoor area including a fire pit!

The Tiny Home with Barrel Sauna

MaiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Look no further, this place is truly a gem! This tiny home is the epitome of coziness, nestled beautifully in the forest equipped with every supply you might have forgotten and only 25 minutes away from Montpellier. This is the perfect spot for a romantic gateway from the city, while still being close enough to enjoy all the local restaurants and stores. We had no issues with the drive, even in the snow! We can’t wait come back ☺️

Bright & Airy Guest House Downtown Waterbury

Adorable and spotless 1 br apartment. Whitney thought of all the little details and everything was cozy and in pristine condition. The apartment has a lovely view of the river and mountains, and easy access to recreation. Whitney was super organized regarding procedures, and even put together a little guest book with all the local attractions and information highlighted. Whitney was easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating to our schedule. Wonderful stay.

Stunning timber frame home on Cady Hill

CurtisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
RJ and Olilvia's place is truly a gem. The location and setting are beautiful; it snowed all three days we were there, and it was fun to watch the snowfall from the big windows and in the cozy loft. The location is super easy to get into and out of Stowe, restaurants, and downtown stores. It was a winter wonderland.
