5-Star Stay at the Perfect Fishing Getaway! We had an amazing stay at this cozy two-room cottage on Lake Athens! It was the perfect spot for a fishing getaway. The dock was ideal for tying up our boat, making it easy to head out early in the morning or relax on the water in the afternoon. The sunsets over the lake were absolutely stunning—something we looked forward to every night as we sat on the porch and reminisced. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking up fresh meals, and the outdoor smoker was a fantastic bonus for preparing some delicious meals. The friendly neighbors even shared a few great fishing spots with us, which made our trip even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat with great fishing, beautiful views, and all the comforts of home, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic stay at Sunset Shores with my family! We grew up on Lake Athens and knew the area well. This is such a beautiful lot and the home (and dock!!) have been spectacularly renovated. Plus, the hosts clearly use the space because it has everything you could possibly need. I always favor lived in AirBnBs for exactly that reason. We will be back. Thank you, Shane!

We enjoyed the home and farm very much! The location was peaceful and the home felt very homey. Absolutely loved the decor. The pictures don't do it justice. The host was so nice and talked with us while the animals were being feed. Overall A+ experience and we will definitely be back! Couldn't get enough of all the wonderful animals!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!! Great place, beautiful area ,close to town. Very clean and fresh. The only issues was the shower is a bit small and water pressure was a bit lower than I prefer. But I will stay again the next time in the area,
