The place is really confortable and the stay was perfect. Beautiful garden, close tomthe main streets were you can find markets, restaurants and pharmacy. Walkable to the lake (5 minutes). If you are going to Tikal, El remate is the perfect stay. I definitely recommend

The house was great, very clean, well appointed, and was super convenient to restaurants and shops. The view of the lake and sunsets was beautiful. The bedrooms are not connected which is nice for privacy as they each have their own bathroom. And they both have a/c and fans for your comfort. The lower bedroom has a large covered deck with a small kitchenette which was perfect for socializing. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hammock. Be aware that the rental is right on the main road, so you should expect considerable traffic noise, but it did not significantly impact our stay. The host was communicative and friendly. He even brought cookies to welcome us. The previous guests had misplaced one of the a/c remotes and he handled it very quickly. We used the Hotel de Don David to organize all of our tours and transportation during our visit. Their guides were from El Remate and were super knowledgeable and amazing! We had a lovely stay.

great house to stay with family

The Green House is in a central location in Flores, yet it is quiet at night. The house has everything you need and has a lot of space. The patio in the back is really nice. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need. There was even a kettle to boil water for tea. We would definitely try to make a reservation at Chema's place again on our next trip to Flores.

We spent two nights in this spacious Airbnb. We were two couples staying here, and it was perfect for our needs: it had two separate bedrooms and a large living room and kitchen. The location was great, right in the center of Flores, with many bars and restaurants just around the corner. The communication was sometimes a little confusing and misleading, but in the end, we managed everything.

Orvin, excellent host, kind, helpful and very attentive 24/7. I would definitely stay at Orvin's house again. Super host!!
