We really enjoyed our stay at Back O Beyond. The cabin was much bigger than we anticipated and very clean. The lake was beautiful, quiet and we had a nice sandy shoreline right in front of our cabin. I really enjoyed kayaking around the islands without worrying about water skiers and jet skis running me over. The fishing was awesome, I caught a 46 inch musky! The owner was very friendly and helpful.

When I got boxed out of a room at a local resort where our family reunion was held, I turned to AirbnB and found Jayde’s house. What an unforgettable place to stay! The house was very clean and well maintained. I enjoyed all of the antiques and vintage decor, but I really loved how generously the host family was in sharing their family history via photos and journals. I enjoyed a sunrise walk down to the water with my cousin Eric (he’s done work with the family and knows his way around) and we saw horses, cows, sandhill cranes, garter snakes, frogs, goldfinches, barn cats, and on and on. Just a truly serene way to end my trip. Thank you for sharing your home! Can’t wait to come back with my children—truly a natural paradise for kids and kids-at-heart.

Was a nice cabin. Bunkbeds were a little small for an average sized adult. The hill to and from the lake was rough for those with health issues but we all survived. The beach area was beautiful but the lake needed raking to remove shells and weeds; luckily we brought water shoes “just in case”. Overall, we were all happy with the accommodations!

It was our annual girls weekend destination this year!!! Perfect for all six of us! We loved sitting on the deck listening to the lake! The beds were comfortable, nicely decorated, loved the big table for meals and games, just an overall great, cozy home! Michelle communicates quickly and directions are clear for checking in and out! Keith’s place was the perfect place to stay for our family on Birkie week. It was nice being that close to town & being able to walk to the restaurant right across the parking lot. The cabin was an awesome retreat and we’d highly recommend checking it out if you’re coming to Hayward!

Roger and Diane were so welcoming and friendly. Their cabin is beautiful! Also have your own pier for fishing! But the cabin is gorgeous, it feels super homey and comfy, didn’t feel like you were in a strangers home at all. Also their decor is perfect, it fits perfectly with the home. And you’re close to Bobbers on the Lake, it’s only a 2 min walk, and the food is great. If you’re looking at Roger’s cabin, give it a try! You won’t regret. Super clean, and comfy. Thank you again Roger and Diane!
