Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in La Plata County

We stayed in Sarah's house for four nights in February 2025. Three adults and a dog. The property is exactly as described. The location was great. A very quiet neighborhood, but only a couple of blocks from downtown Main St. We just walked to downtown with no parking worries. The house is very pet-friendly. The kitchen and the rest of the house was well-equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much and would gladly stay again the next time we are in Durango.

Wonderful home for our family reunion. Had everything we needed to cook dinners, play games in the large family room, star gaze on the nice wrap around porch, throw the football in the yard, etc. Great location with easy drive to Purgatory for skiing and main town just a few minutes away. Highly recommend!

This location was beautiful and peaceful! The home was well stocked and the game room was great for the kids! We will definitely return!

I have stayed in many cities and many house. This house was one of my favorite places to stay. This place has everything you need and it is so beautiful.

Melissa's place was spotless, private, quiet, and walking distance to the best coffee shop in Durango. The space itself is airy and light-filled, with a comfy bed. I loved how centrally located it was while still being able to see deer walking by at sunset. It stayed plenty warm in the middle of January, and I would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful Eco peaceful place, filled with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Host is very hands on and helpful. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit this area.

We had a wonderful time at this house! It’s beautiful, comfy, warm & extremely inviting! Cynthia, our hostess, was very kind, receptive & thoughtful. There was a big snowstorm coming in to that area on our day of arrival & she offered for us to come a day early to avoid the weather! Very sweet. Beautiful property, clean, well stocked for guests. We will definitely stay at this lovely house again!

We thoroughly enjoyed this peaceful home on the creek near Mancos. Our pooch got to chase her frisbee on the lawn, and we awakened to the sounds of the birds and Canada geese most mornings. We easily prepared our meals and found it abundantly well- equipped. The jacuzzi tub for two was a special treat.

Donna was an excellent host. She contacted us before the snow storm to give us a heads up on the weather forecast and helpful information on how to find the place in case maps took us somewhere else. Her hospitality and communication was second to none. Highly recommended!!!

We had a great stay at Brooke’s. Beautiful home and surroundings. Esthetically pleasing however it came at a minor inconvenience not having a microwave.

Lovely space with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We loved that it was located right outside downtown Durango and had a peaceful atmosphere. Everything we needed was provided and quite dog friendly. If you have senior dogs or large dogs, going upstairs to the loft would be challenging because it’s a steep spiral staircase. Once you’re up there, it’s absolutely lovely and there’s a really cool porch with a space to take in nature!

Beautiful home in quiet surroundings. We loved Leroy the lab and all the goats and horses around. Place was very easy to find and not far from some nice walking paths.

Just a beautiful location! Truly did not want to leave. The house was stunning and the view was even better. Just a short drive to down town Durango and to Purgatory ski resort. Couldn’t have picked a better spot! The host was very sweet and the home was very inviting. The place was well decorated with very modern decor. Hopefully will come again!

Just what we were looking for. Leslie was very responsive and helpful from our first contact and throughout our stay. The location is private but within minutes of “downtown.” The suite is well maintained and very comfortable. All around great experience.

Had a really great stay here. Enjoyed beautiful sunny days with views of the lake and mountains, relaxing nights in the hot tub with a stunning night sky. Excellent and thoughtful hosts. Highly recommend!

We had a peaceful, relaxing stay at Marina's place. The morning after we arrived, we woke to about 10 inches of beautiful snow which made it difficult to get out of the driveway. Marina and her husband were very helpful by clearing a path to get to our car and removing snow from the driveway. The unit was warm and cozy, very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is clean, is comfortable, is an easy 5 minute walk to the slopes and has everything my wife and I needed for a ski week at Purgatory. In addition, Steve and Nancy (the hosts) were very responsive.

Unit was just like pictured. Short walk to hot tub & pool. Easy access, did not have to walk too far from parking lot to unit. Just a minute from fort Lewis college.

While the pictures of the unit are great, it is even better than the pictures! Extremely clean and very well stocked! We were all very comfortable!

The perfect weekend getaway! Location was really great, check in easy, quiet to sleep. Would 100% recommend!

Definitely would recommend this for a family or group of 4, was perfect size. Location was great, easy walk to the main lodge or the beginner slopes, easy walk to first chair. I skied down to within 40-50 yards each day to eat lunch at the place. It was very clean, had everything we needed, I would love to come and rent this place again.

Daniel’s place was great! We enjoyed being so close to the ski lifts and restaurants. The ski locker was a great addition as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place to stay! Felt very comfortable and loved the holiday decorations to make you feel like your in your own home, met all our expectations and exceeded them as well!
