Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in La Plata County

A perfect spot if you’re looking for a comfortable, clean, convenient place central to the main parts of Durango. We had a fantastic stay here for 3 nights and I hope to stay again! The home was incredibly clean and had one of the most well equipped kitchens. Beds were comfortable and all linens were clean and fresh. The house is near the main historical part of town and an easy few block walk from Main Street with many wonderful shops and restaurants. It was easily walkable and accessible even with my disabilities. The hosts were extremely communicative, always making sure to message in advance with updates, to check in and see if we needed anything, and to make sure we had all information for check out.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! We are going to recommend to our other family members and friends who plan to stay in Durango to stay here.

We had a fantastic stay at Amanda’s Airbnb! It was well-stocked with all the essentials, plus thoughtful touches like dog bowls, treats, and toys for our pups. The snow slides were a fun bonus, and Amanda was super responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend staying here!

This was my second time staying at Galaxyland and, just like my first visit, it didn't disappoint. This is a modern, well appointed one bedroom home near many attractions and outdoor activities. Melissa communicates well and is an excellent host; will definitely stay again.

Had a wonderful stay with a charming ranch feel! The place was comfortable and conveniently close to the national park. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

Beautiful house out on a beautiful piece of land. Great accommodations for our group, and pretty close to groceries and other services despite feeling secluded.

This place!… I think our favorite thing about staying at Airbnb”s is when they aren’t just your ordinary places to stay. This family has poured their heart and soul into these little apartments and they are a true labor of love. Loved the decor! Loved the rugs!… I’m trying to find these rugs online!!! The upstairs of the apartment makes this place feel like it is two different rooms, making it extra roomy and spacious for a family of 4. Our apartments had everything we needed. We appreciated the cleaning supplies especially since it got so muddy with the snow. On a cold, snowy day, our host reached out to us to make sure we were comfortable, warm, and had enough blankets. They were always communicative and helpful. I think the true host of the property is Tito Bandito, the dog! He greeted us every morning & made sure our dog was worn out and that she had a best friend our entire stay. Thank you for such a great stay our first time in Colorado!

Such a perfect place to stay for our weekend getaway! The house was clean and hosts were so friendly! They even had a few fresh flowers! The stars at night were stunning! Can’t wait to come back!! 🤩

Lesley's place was perfect! The view of the Animas valley was gorgeous and we loved the privacy and quiet her place offered us. It's perfect size for a couple and had everything we needed for a short getaway. Lesley was also a wonderful host and gave us plenty of recommendations of things to do. We woke up to a storm on our one full day in Durango and she was quick to give us thrifting and lunch recommendations in town for a rainy day. I can't speak highly enough of Lesley and her property!

This truly is a Lovely place to stay in Durango. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and Leslie’s place was everything we needed. It was clean, spacious, the kitchen was stocked with all we needed to cook, the WiFi was fast and reliable, the AC worked well when it got hot in the afternoons and the location is a quick drive into town. There is so much to do nearby we enjoyed sunsets at the lions den overlook, drives through the San Juan’s to catch the fall colors and exploring the Durango town restaurants and lively music. This was our first trip to Durango but it certainly won’t be our last! If we come back we’ll be sure to stay at Leslie’s place, maybe we’ll even come back in the winter to do some skiing. Thank you again Leslie for being such a gracious host and having an awesome place!

Wonderful cozy condo with beautiful mountain and fall color views all around! The place was very homey and welcoming with a very nice bathroom - hottub access was a great plus. Balcony offered fantastic views as well! The drive down to downtown Durango had stunning fall color views! Be careful getting to the place as the GPS can take you through a service road, make sure to keep on the paved road. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again when visiting San Juan/Durango!

Very clean and nice cozy place to relax and leave your worries elsewhere. Plenty of parking. Just keep an eye out for the deer running around about.

The place is very clean and as described in the photos. However it has many steps to get up to the condo and in the condo so that really needs to be in description because 2 of 4 of us had issues one of us just had ankle surgery and the other one hip issues making walking up and down the many steps not ideal. But her place was great !

While the pictures of the unit are great, it is even better than the pictures! Extremely clean and very well stocked! We were all very comfortable!

A beautiful and quiet place to stay. The apartment was spotless and well equipped with everything a family of four could possibly need. The linen was lovely and very high quality. It is a short drive out of town, but we appreciated the quiet surroundings. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

We were in town for a wedding weekend with family near Haviland Lake at Chris Park Campground. My elderly mom requires additional care, so the location was perfect for us. Quick access to the Lake and Campground allowed for mom to attend some events but also have her at home with caregiver while we enjoyed the festivities over the weekend. The home is clean and as represented in the listing photos. The deck connected to the property is wonderful, with forest views and a beautiful meadow below. Floor plan is great with family, dining, kitchen, laundry, full bathroom all downstairs. And bedrooms and another full bathroom upstairs. Morris, the on-site property manager, was proactive, responsive and friendly. Made for a smooth check in and check out. PJ's gourmet market was a bonus, just 10 minutes down the road for groceries, coffee, spirits, and full deli. Highly recommend this place for a quiet get away or family trip.
