Apartment vacation rentals in La Plata County

The apartment suited our needs although it was a little tight in the living area. We were on the 4th floor, so the hot tubs were just outside our door. We were just a short walk from the railroad station and the rail museum, which were major targets for us. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Pleasant surprise for us after camping was that the laundry facilities were convenient, open 24 hours, and free. Staff even supplied laundry detergent for free. Unpleasant surprise was the charge of $12/night for outside parking which I did not see listed at the time of booking. Lots of kids amongst the guests.

Great location, clean, and had everything we needed!

This place is great for a ski vacation. The condo is within 100 yards of the main lift which is a very easy walk through the plaza and another 25 yards through the snow. Several restaurants are an easy walk away. The scenery is amazing and everyone is very friendly. The apartment was clean and delightful. There is a nice fireplace. My only suggestion is to bring your own kindling to make the fire starting process a little easier. We took advantage of the hot tub which was two floors up! The water was very warm and the experience was a nice end to the day! I would highly recommend this place !!

This place was super cozy, felt right, and was literally everything we needed! It felt like a smaller version of home, and pretty cool decor. Matt was super easy to communicate with and often checked in on us to see how it was going. He was super responsive and always offered more than we asked. Outstanding, class act host!!

We loved our stay at this cozy air bnb. The location was perfect for hiking, skiing, and fishing. The apartment was very private and had every amenity we were looking for. We went snowboarding at wolf creek, went ice fishing, and visited pagosa. We flew into Durango airport which is only 30 minutes away. We look forward to booking again next winter!

The room is perfect for a couple or small family and also stocked with many things that not all places provide. Access to the golf and pool/jacuzzi was very nice. Quiet was also notable.

An excellent place to stay. Everything was very clean and orderly. We felt very comfortable during our stay; we loved the great views of a snowy mountainside backdrop in the winter time; and breathtaking starry night skies. Check-in and Check-out was very smooth and effortless. Definitely recommend this place for a quiet vacation getaway.

We had a great stay at Brooke’s. Beautiful home and surroundings. Esthetically pleasing however it came at a minor inconvenience not having a microwave.

Lovely space with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We loved that it was located right outside downtown Durango and had a peaceful atmosphere. Everything we needed was provided and quite dog friendly. If you have senior dogs or large dogs, going upstairs to the loft would be challenging because it’s a steep spiral staircase. Once you’re up there, it’s absolutely lovely and there’s a really cool porch with a space to take in nature!

This was my first Airbnb experience, and it couldn’t have been better. Angie was incredibly accommodating and welcoming, especially considering we booked last minute. The place looked exactly like the pictures and was spotless. The area was peaceful, offering a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. I’m so grateful Angie could host us on such short notice—it truly made our trip memorable. Her responsiveness and willingness to assist with any additional needs were much appreciated. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this place!

We booked a last minute get away for a few days here and really enjoyed it. The place was just as listed. It was stocked very well with everything we needed. I was able to park my truck in the dedicated parking spot under the building. It is located within walking distance to many many places of interest. Overall a great place in a great location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Loft Apartment. The place was exactly as described and pictured. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds and linens were comfortable, and the views from the living room windows were wonderful. Our hosts were responsive and helpful. We brought our dogs, and the dog run near the front door was a nice addition, especially since we stayed in the winter and could just utilize the dog run rather than walking them, as the snow in the area had melted and refrozen, making walking a bit more concerning. The Christmas lights on the property were a beautiful complement to the snow on the ground, helping make our stay all the more pleasing. What a beautiful setting the entire campground is! This is a great place to stay.

The unit was as described and clean. Nice updates. Thoughtfully equipped. We would stay here again.

This place is amazing! The resort is beautiful - we used the pool and the playground. We were able to take our 4 yo granddaughter sledding right out our back patio.

Highly recommend! The house had beautiful views, was very clean, and felt like home. We’d definitely stay here again. The view from the hot tub is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Rhonda And Todd’s very communicative and helpful.

Our stay was as expected with everything we needed.

Arriving late at night Maps (in CarPlay) did not take us to the correct building so we had to drive around for a bit to figure out where our unit was. There was never anyone in the office when we went there (needed a light bulb).

Karen's place was great and we'll definitely be coming back. Fantastic location - easy access on the 1st floor and a short walk to the slopes. The place was well appointed and super comfortable.

Loved it. We've stayed at a number of different condos at the Glacier and we've always been happy. This was no exception. Nice updates and great views Will stay there again.
