Vacation rentals with a kayak in La Plata County

This lovely home exceeded our expectations. Everything that you could possibly need and more was available in the house. Best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen! All of us loved the game room, especially our grandchildren. James was a fantastic host. Quick to respond to the couple of questions that we had. Highly recommend!

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our needs and so cute and clean. Just a nice, peaceful area. We had everything we needed stocked for our stay. The area was just beautiful with all the fall colors. I would suggest if you are bringing your own paddleboards or extra kayaks (there are two kayaks included with the rental) that it is easier to take the path to the lake on the far side of the cabin to the north of the property to get them down to the water. Rene was great with communication and gave great suggestions on things to do in the area!

Cozy home, had everything we needed. There were plenty of extra blankets to keep warm but the heater in the home worked great. No issues checking in, easy to find. Also had a little deer visit us in the backyard one evening. Would stay here again.

This space was everything posted about and SO much more! This home was the perfect sanctuary for our family. The host was always so helpful, responsive, wonderful to work with from start to finish. The listing totally undersells the amazingness of this property. The home was spotless. The house was minimalistic in all the best ways as an AirBnb. We felt right at home! The kitchens was perfectly stocked with all the pans, dishes, etc that was needed. Get ready to see some amazing wildlife while enjoying morning coffee on the beautiful wrap around deck. We were left with plenty of firewood to make nights as a family in the living room amazing! Fishing with the kiddos was core memory making! The water is clear enough that when the sun hits just right you can see all the HUGE rainbow trout! Thank you to the host for letting us catch them and make an amazing fish meal! This was the absolute perfect fall trip for our family! Thank you!

We had a great time staying at Shawn’s Airbnb! It was very peaceful and we felt right at home! We also had a lot of opportunities to see some great wildlife!

Joe was a fantastic host for our stay in Durango. He was super responsive and friendly in all interactions. The house was cozy and is tucked in a beautiful location. Would definitely be interested in staying there again for my next trip to Durango!

Very relaxing place to unwind. Wish I could have seen the lake full instead of how low it is now. Fishing is great!

We had a great stay at this place! The house had everything we wanted for a comfortable family getaway: a well-maintained hot tub, beautiful views, and a fire pit. The beds and seating were comfortable, and the layout made it easy for everyone to relax. We enjoyed gathering for dinners, and the kitchen had all the essentials, making it easy to cook meals. The overall setup of the home really made it feel welcoming and also very interesting! Like being in a fun museum! Highly recommend this place for an enjoyable stay!

Jim & Kim’s property is absolutely stunning and perfect for my little birthday getaway. Jim and Kim are also great hosts! So friendly upon our arrival, it felt like coming home! Will definitely stay here again for future trips!
