Places to stay in Kosciusko

We had a fantastic stay at Jame’s home. The space was beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean, with very comfy beds, and perfectly located for our small groups bike event. James was incredibly responsive to our messages and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this listing to anyone visiting the Ackerman area.

These super hosts are absolutely super people! Peggy and Terry are “top shelf” in my book!! Very clean and neat quarters. Very quick to respond and just a fantastic experience. I will be back! Thanks again for making my stay so comfortable.

Sherri's place was perfect. We felt immediately at home. It was quiet, we saw lots of birds and two deer in the distance. Sherri provided everything we could need for breakfast and there was even a freshly baked banana bread. Kitchen was well stocked and everything worked. I used the stove, microwave and oven and the washer/dryer in a separate room was very handy. It got chilly while we were there and the heating was easy to put on and control. We also ate at the Council House in French Camp 10 mins away which was good. I think there's a bakery in town and 3-Ways and Dollar General for provisions. Most of all the home was so cute and comfortable and we were sorry to leave.

Great cabin for a quick getaway. Very secluded and beautiful property where you can walk into the woods or do some fishing. Cabin is well appointed with stuff for cooking, grilling, campfires, etc. Robbie was proactive in communicating with us prior to arrival and providing detailed instructions. The sawmill is there but it’s not disruptive (more of a dull roar) and they shut down late afternoon making the evening very quiet. Convenient location - 5 minutes from the Piggly Wiggly for whatever you need.

Our second stay and beautiful as always. A great place to chill and visit with family.

This house was great and Judith was very a great host.

This was a perfect place for a weekend in Mississippi. It was not very far from Starkville, which is where we spent a lot of time. We had some issues with the keypad lock when checking in and entering the place, but our host was very responsive and gave us instructions to enter the home in another way. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay. I enjoyed our host's hospitality and responsive communication whenever I messaged. I recommend this place for anyone looking to spend a weekend near Starkville!

I cannot say enough about my stay here! The place is wonderful. I had a party of 9-7 adults and 2 children; we had plenty of space. The mattresses on the beds are AMAZING!!! I made certain to take photos of the mattress. I already ordered pillows from the company that makes the mattress. As soon as I’m settled back home, I’m ordering the mattress!!! The home was clean and prepared nicely for us when we arrived. I loved going for morning walks on the property. It is private and so spacious that I could sing loudly without fear of harming the ears of others. If you’re one for country get-a-ways, you will NOT be disappointed with staying here. I loved it so much, I’m going to buy some land in the area and build a place of my own for my trips to Mississippi. Absolutely loved it.
