Monthly Rentals in Korakas beach

Our family of four had an amazing time at Mary Beach Villas. This area of the south coast in Crete is an absolute gem - incredible mountains (with amazing roads cut through the gorges) with the most crystal clear water. Mary Beach villas are just outside the quaint but well served village of Frangocastello - the bay(s) Mary Beach is on is absolutely perfect - 3 small sandy bays with rocks at each end brilliant for snorkelling in the amazing water. It is so unspoilt sitting behind extensive farming country at the foothills of the mountains behind. Served by 3 family run idyllic and yummy tavernas. There are 6 other villas like Mary Beach on the far bay - but Mary Beach with just 3 villas in the middle and right next to one of the tavernas are the best. The accommodation is brilliant - great views from the 10m sliding doors over the outside space, perfect plunge pool (which the villa left us a volleyball net!) across the private lawns and onto the beach at the end of the private land.

This place was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and completely at home. The garden is stunning—a perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee while taking in the beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere. It was the ideal start to each day. The apartment is decorated with so much care, including handmade elements by Takis that bring the beauty of nature inside. Also notable is the well equipped kitchen, making cooking very easy. The surroundings offer so much to explore that we wished we could have stayed longer! Tina also gave us fantastic tips for excursions, which made our trip even more memorable. Thank you, Tina, for an amazing stay—we hope to return someday!

Very nice typical house for the region. Especially sitting on the rooftop veranda overlooking the sea and the mountains is stunningly beautiful and such a perfect place to enjoy the views, the sun and the stars at night. We loved and enjoyed our stay at Evangelia’s place a lot and felt comfortable and happy there. The neighbour even brought us fresh eggs from her little farm after having met her in the local supermarket (very friendly). All was clean and pretty inside the house, too. Thank you!

We LOVED our stay - if we lived closer we would be back in a minute! It’s a 2 minute walk down to a great beach where we swam right after arriving. The room was clean and bright with a lovely view from the small patio that had shade from hibiscus plans and a lime tree. The best part was the people and the food - we had the most delicious dinner every night at their taverna and the whole family was welcoming and warm and made us feel at home. Breakfast and coffee in the morning looking out on the sea with a warm breeze was heaven. Can’t wait to tell all my friends to stay here!
