Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Kodiak Island

Michelle’s place is about 20 minutes outside of the town of Kodiak in an area call the Flats. At first I worried about getting there and finding the place in the dark. But my map app stayed in reception the entire time and my printed map also matched exactly. Entry was quick and easy with code lock box. Had private room, clean linens, books, a TV with Netflix, a deal, little coffee maker and candies, as well as some fresh towels and a private in-attached bathroom. Beautiful home full of plants and pretty art, with two friendly cats. Wonderful night time star gazing away from light pollution. Michelle was friendly, accommodating and invited this solo gal out for dinner so I didn’t feel lonely. Super kind gal and a lovely safe place to stay for person traveling by themselves for work or pleasure.

This was a totally awesome place to stay long-term while in Kodiak. It was close by to grocery stores and we really enjoyed it as a base of operations for our two and a half weeks.

Can’t say enough about this place, it’s perfect. Jessica was great and the house was a perfect place to kick off our hunt. Great beds and lots of room for gear.

Born and raised on the island, but staying here felt like a new world! What a beautiful piece of Kodiak. The house was spacious, clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed and more. Jeff and his wife were so kind and opened their beautiful home to our family. Would love to come back and stay again one day. The banya was hot, the views were exceptional, and we loved the peace and tranquillity. Beautiful beaches, four wheeling, paddle boarding and site seeing.

Jennifer’s was one of the best we have stayed in on Kodiak. We hope to stay here again?

Very Nice appartement. Great view, we saw a lot of eagels. Location is good and the hosts are friendly an helpfull. Very Nice they offer a rentalcar as well.

Wonderful stay! The apartment was impeccably clean! Super easy check in and check out process. They were also very accommodating with our dynamic travel plans :):)

We were saddened that the hot tub was not working. So could only give them 5 stars…We had a great time. Local information was very helpful. Caught fish, got to see fox & even a bear. Would definately come again. Thanks so much for sharing your quiet cabin in the woods.

It was a very nice, cozy home that my family enjoyed for our Christmas vacation. It was listed exactly as expected. Amy is awesome, very responsive and super nice! I would recommend this stay to anyone!
