Places to stay in Ninilchik

Can’t say enough about how beautiful a house Brett has…and the million dollar view it affords. 5 bedrooms and a yurt outside creates so much room for everyone…we had 6 in our group, you definitely, if you were couples fit more people. The kitchen had everything you’d need to Cheff up a meal so you wouldn’t have to go out to eat if that’s the way you roll. The hot tub in the yard overlooks the Homer Spit, and the majestic Kachemek Bay mountains across the bay. We would rent here again in a heartbeat. Such a lovely rental!

Andre’s place is a lovely hidden gem on the Homer Spit!! September marks the end of summer tourism, which means some shops will be closed— however don’t let that stop you! Fall in Alaska is best!! The space is cozy, yet spacious. Enjoy morning coffee watching the tide change or an evening night cap. I’ve been to Homer several times, (mostly because it’s my favourite little getaway from Anchorage) Andre’s place is a must stay!!! Make sure you visit the Salty Dawg, it’s a right of passage. The fresh catch is always tasty, and Finns Pizza! Also, if you’re into exploring, take the water taxi across Kachemak Bay to the state park for some amazing hiking. This will be my go to spot when I visit Homer!!

We enjoyed staying at Maggie’s apartment. It was very clean, comfortable, conveniently located. Thank you! We would highly recommend!

Great location with a 30 second walk to Bishops Beach. Lovely back deck for when the sun comes out. Beautiful views from 2 backside bedrooms. Having a washer & dryer is extremely helpful when you spend all morning playing on the sand and in the tide pools. Bonus feature - two sister bakery next door (only open wed-sat 10am-3pm). Can't wait to stay here again.

Stacey’s guest house is super well appointed, in a quiet location close to town with stunning views of the Kachemak Bay and Mountains. We absolutely loved our stay.

Lovely place; very clean and well stocked. There was so much information on the area and that was very helpful. The view was nice and when we opened the window there was a nice breeze. Lila was very responsive and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Cannot recommend this place enough. A nice little cabin with absolutely stunning views. Just a few minutes from town, but far enough to enjoy your own private space. Anastassiya and Jay are great hosts; hardworking, very kind and quick in their responses. Anastasiya’s hand-made breakfasts were delicious and thoughtful. We enjoyed the fire pit and were even visited by several moose. This was the perfect place to book for our trip to Homer.

Beautiful place with beautiful views. Loved the area and the place, very cute and cozy. Was able to chat with Becky in person and she was very friendly and gave good recommendations. She also let me borrow her charger, thank you for hosting us.

The house was exactly as describes. We enjoyed our stay in the house. It looked like every part of the house was updated. Location worked out perfectly as it was an easy ride to the Homer Spit.
