This option should not disappointment. Private bedroom with shared bathrooms, laundry, kitchen, and alternative community areas met expectations for guests and myself. Would consider returning. Thank you, AA.

Private, comfortably furnished room with nice, clean common areas and a well equipped kitchen. Two shared full bathrooms for four private bedrooms. It was a perfect "port in a storm" for me while I waited for my local apartment to be renovated. Big, new washer/dryer so you can wash clothes and some bigger items like winter jackets, but quiet and far enough from the bedrooms that I was never disturbed if they were in use. Code locks on main door and on each private room. I felt that my belongings were always secure. Reasonable rules for common areas, too. While I was there, the other residents were quiet, courteous, and all cleaned up after themselves in the kitchen. There was NEVER a mess left behind. The price I paid was well worth it. I would stay here again if I ever needed a place while my home is being repaired or remodeled.

my son is stationed at jber do I chose this place for the 5 minute commute. it was clean and comfy and quiet. Troy responded quickly to my questions. I would definatly stay again!

OMG how wonderful to stay at this hostel with a private room!! What a joy to meet the host, who was very accommodating to help when I ran into personal challenges. …Would recommend this place in heartbeat and would happily stay again as preferred lodging!!! Was a nice stay

Joshua was super responsive and helpful. It was a good quiet place to stay while in Alaska. I enjoyed myself and I’d stay again

David was kind and easy to have as a host. Thou his family was living there I was never bothered by them nor did we even see them. David made sure we had breakfast and even got us kripsy kreme doughnuts. I was pleased with how nice the accommodations were, also the hot tub was fantastic !

Everything was fine, I liked everything

Stay with Kurt! I doubt you'll find a better host or a better space. We loved using the sauna and hot tub after a long day, and he's an expert on local information and cooking salmon! The space was comfortable and we felt very welcome. We hope to come back!

This place was incredible and even more than we anticipated! Kurt was so friendly and accommodating, and gave us an upgrade since it was available. I did yoga on the peaceful dock while my friend worked out and enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. Such a chill, friendly spot we felt free to make our own. Well definitely stay here if we’re in town again! Definitely get more than what you pay for.

A great place to stay and discover Anchorage. We loved the wood stove that is creating a very warm atmosphere. Jason is an exceptional host, extremely responsive!
