Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kittilä

The house of Kirsi and her husband was a Finnish dream, embedded in wintery, breathtaking natural landscape. It was quiet, it was private and the best, every night , really (!) every night northern lights came right in front of the house in different colors red, pink, purple, green. It was not only visible, they moved permanently and changed their shapes It was amazing, I cried with happiness the first night was so beautiful. You had the feeling that you can touch the northern lights so low that they came down. I had talked to Levi's locals afterwards, who envied me because they said they would be happy if it was only half of the northern lights to see what can be seen in Raattama. The house was perfect, clean & well equipped. There was nothing missing. And the sauna that is fired with wood is a dream for body &soul. Kirsi and her husband are very nice hosts. I can recommend the house to everyone.

The house was very simply satisfied, had a good location . Shopping and ski slope were nearby . In the house directly everything was as described , everything was available . We would book the house again. 😀

We came in the winter and the area was peaceful and completely quiet, which was wonderful. The house looked even better than the pictures so we walked in pleasantly surprised. The location is perfect, it’s close enough to everything you want and need. The recommendations in the booklet were exactly what we needed, we spent a lot of time with the nearby reindeer camp Ounasporo which made our time in Hetta magical. Whenever we had questions about the instructions in the booklet which we found a bit confusing at times, or anything else, the host answered us right away. We are definitely coming back here!

We had an awesome stay with 4 people. You need a car to get to the house but there is no light pollution so you just need to step out of the door to see the northern lights :) supermarkets were not far away, about 10-15 Minutes by car. It was beautiful to have this vast snowy landscape and the forest on the other side of the river (which is frozen in winter and you can walk on) is also very nice to walk through. We wera allowed to use wood for the oven and the sauna. It was just a cozy accomodation and our winter vacation was like in a picture book. Thank you for everything! :)

A great cottage in beautiful surroundings! Super quiet and relaxing. You can do a lot but also relax perfectly. Everything necessary is available, cozy and clean. The communication with Kaisa and the lockbox check-in worked perfectly. Clear recommendation, thank you very much :)

Apartment located in a strategic location for everything, 2 minutes from the ski slopes, 1 minutes from cross-country skiing, 5 minutes from the market. Mrs. Noora is very kind in allowing us to postpone the check-out, clean bathroom with exceptional sauna, kitchen equipped with all the useful utensils. There is a fireplace equipped with wood, a fairytale, the clothes dryer. Really great apartment without having to pay crazy amounts that others ask for.

Excellent rental, we felt very comfortable. The apartment has everything needed to be able to self cater. Excellent location about a 5 minute drive from the centre or Levi. Extremely handy to have a car parking space. Robin was always extremely responsive with messages and advice. Would love to return one day!

A very nice and clean apartment (family of 5) within walking distance of the ski lift and restaurants. The check-in was very easy and swift. Everything you may need is available in the kitchen (ample amount of plates and cutlery and a dishwasher). The sauna and fireplace are a nice extra on holiday. And especially if there is already enough wood available so you don't have to drag with this. Thanks to the many windows, the apartment was very bright, even though it was mid-December. We certainly recommend this apartment!

We had an amazing stay in Levi. Our accommodation surpassed our expectations. The location was great, surrounded by nature and a short walk to town. Katri was very responsive to any query we had. We loved it

We had a really great time! It’s a cozy house and we immediately felt at home. The sauna was amazing. It’s a quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature :) The only thing that we found a bit unfortunate is that we could only check in at 6 pm and we already had to check out at 10 am.

What a charming and woodsy spot to spend a relaxing time in Lapland. The fireplace was perfect! The living room was a great place to hang out too. Small word of caution, it’s quite hot in the loft. If you plan to sleep there, be prepared for that. Overall we feel we really lucked out at the Lyly cabin. Any issues were handled quickly by Arrtu. I’d definitely return if I ever find my way to Lapland again. PS: Don’t miss a reindeer safari!

Mikko and his wife were fantastic hosts—friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The location was peaceful yet conveniently close to all the ski slopes in Levi, with a bus stop just a 3-minute walk away. The bus runs every 15 minutes, making transportation super easy. The Arctic Spa is available at an additional cost, but it’s money well spent—a perfect treat after a long day of skiing. Mikko also kindly brought us to the shop to get some grocery, which was a really good of him. We had a great stay and would be happy to return!

This really is a beautiful lodge and we had a fantastic stay here. There was 10 of us staying but there was plenty of room for us all. The kitchen and living area is a very social space and it looks amazing. We also loved the fireplace, sauna and hot tub - it made for a very cosy and comfortable stay. The surrounding area is beautiful and we were even able to walk to Ylläs ski resort. Plenty of space to park 3 cars. We would absolutely stay again if we are travelling back to Finland. We had a wonderful and relaxing time in this house. The central location in Levi is ideal and offers a perfect base for numerous activities. The house is very well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. We were particularly impressed by the spacious gym, which ensures movement even on less sunny days. The kitchen is modern and well furnished, which makes cooking a pleasure. The tasteful and cozy interior design creates a welcoming atmosphere in which you immediately feel comfortable. A special highlight is the great bedroom on the gallery, from which you can look directly into the sky – simply fantastic! The nearby cross-country skiing trails are a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts. Overall, we felt completely comfortable here and will keep this special place in the best memory. Absolutely recommended!

spent 5 nights at this accommodation in Levi. perfect quiet location, 5 minutes walk to the nearest super market and 10 minutes walk to the ski slopes, shops etc. fantastic host, loads of information given and fast response to any questions we had. everything was readily available and easy to access. provided all the basics you would need like dishwasher powder, washing up liquid, shampoo, hand wash, salt and pepper and cleaning products. Amazing decking to watch over the wooded area. Had provisions to make safe for toddlers and small children- moveable stair gates and high chair. lovely showers, comfortable beds and loads of space, there was 5 of us staying there. had sledges we could use for the children- saved buying more to just leave behind, so great for the environment. lovely and warm accommodation that we would defiantly recommend and stay there again ourselves. thank you so much for having us Jaana.

Beautiful home that is accurately portrayed by the pictures…location was perfect for peace yet walkable distance to shops, restaurants and snow activities. The home is so cozy and comfortable, we can’t wait to return!

This accommodation was absolute perfect for what we wanted. Quiet, out of the busy town, surrounded by peaceful woodland with a few walks and a hill perfect for sledging 😄 The house itself was like something from a Christmas movie: wooden cabin, warm, stove, Christmas tree, big table for the whole family to eat round, sauna! Outi was extremely helpful, even months before we arrived, by giving us different options for how to easily get to our various booked excursions. I can't recommend this place highly enough if you want remote, authentic Finnish lapland, with the option of occasionally going into Levi for your fix of town life. Thank you so much, Outi 😊

Great cabin for your Lapland adventure! This unique cabin has the most beautiful cross country tracks right to the door and is just minutes from the amazing slopes of Ylläs ski resort. Here you will find comfort and tranquility after a day in the snow.

We stayed with 4 adults in early February for 6 days in beautiful Villa Lumi. A great house with a nice fireplace and even nicer sauna. The house is large so we had enough space. Villa Lumi is completely quiet in a wooded area. Markus was always quick to reach. Even when the access was impassable due to snow pangs, he quickly provided help. Restaurants are within walking distance, for arriving from the airport and shopping in Muonio you need a car. Unfortunately, we were not able to see northern lights – also due to the partly covered sky. But you can also come back. Markus thank you very much.
