Lovely place. Enjoyed the hot tub and the views. Great host and great place would definitely stay again.

Fabulous place to stay. Spotlessly clean and in a lovely location. Ideal for our needs as we were visiting family nearby. Nice pub, The Trout, a ten minute walk away for good ale and nice food. Sally and Steve were the perfect hosts. Friendly and easy to communicate with. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing break away. Peaceful setting, stunning views. A great place to switch off and relax. Nick was a great host from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend the breakfast box.

Thank you for a lovely stay. It was comfortable, good privacy, hot tub was nice and big and easy to use. There were lots of thoughtful things and a lot of care and attention has clearly gone in to making sure guests have a comfortable stay. The pictures do not do it justice, and it was bigger than expected, yet still lovely and cosy. Nice and warm in the winter and hot tub covered so works for all seasons. Bath was big and relaxing. We did not have a dog but this would be a great place to bring a dog with plenty of space and a secure garden. Sue and Alan were great and responsive hosts and respect your privacy. I would recommend Wisteria Lodge to friends and family and would stay again.

Cindy was proactive with communication from the beginning, calling to offer a free upgrade to the onsite Lodge as she was worried about October temperatures overnight in the Yurt. The Lodge was just as private and fenced in which meant the dog could run around freely. The lodge was warm and had has all you need for your stay. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us, don’t make my mistake and turn it off over night though as it takes some time to warm up. Nothing was too much of Cindy who lives on site and is always on the end of the phone. It was just a perfect weekend away from any tech and just perfectly peaceful. We shall be back

I can't fault this accommodation, location, layout, access, as described with clear and helpful instructions. Parking was good on the main street and close to pretty much everything this beautiful and quantity town has to offer. 5 🌟 all the way and possibly a 6 if that's allowed. looking forward to returning already.

A lovely, spacious cottage in a quiet and peaceful. relaxing location. A good base to explore from. The cottage is well equipped, spacious, clean and traditional in looks. The gardens are beautiful and a very relaxing place to be. Abundant wildlife and so away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Easy place to explore from, shame there is no local pub or restaurant and shops are a car journey away but it doesn't take away from the beauty of the place. The cottage provides a haven of peace and tranquility and yet is close to touristy places and the sea. Great if you like simple pleasures, walking and nature and need space to relax and chill. Ideal for people with dogs or children as the garden is enclosed and huge. Plenty of toys for the kids and space to run around.

Fantastic place to stay , Louise was welcoming and couldnt do enough for us. Nice location in the countryside and quiet.

This cottage is one of the best Airbnb homes that I have stayed in. It is situated within 10 minutes of the coast. Stephen and Linda are great hosts, they are there if you need them for any reason. The cottage itself is very clean, comfortable and has every thing that you may need.

Great experience for a real life in quiet and beautiful countryside of Yorkshire. Very clean and cosy room, easy check in and easy communication with Louise.

We had a wonderful time at Paul’s cabin. Beautifully furnished, it’s the perfect place for a countryside getaway! Wish we were staying for longer :) the WiFi isn’t the strongest which made researching the local area a little challenging. But Paul had kindly left out some brochures with a couple of local recommendations. Plus we ended up just winging it

Clean and well presented, the flat is located really close to town. Everything you need for normal living is in the flat: effective laundry, heater and kitchen.

Great host, lovely place in the country side not far from local towns. Nice to see the farm animals.

Perfect peaceful retreat near York! The lodge was immaculate with thoughtful touches throughout. The open-plan living space and deck offered stunning countryside views - perfect for morning coffee and wildlife watching, every morning there we birds and squirrels and even some chickens one morning. Both en-suite bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The location is ideal - tranquil and just 12 miles from York. Kitchen was well-equipped and the whole space felt bright and homely. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a serene countryside stay with easy access to the city!

A lovely space! Our group of eight guests were here for a wedding so didn't get as much of a chance to explore the area as we'd like, but the cottage was a perfect weekend base. The photos don't do the room size justice - all eight of us happily fitted into the large kitchen/diner - and all the beds (including sofabed) were comfy and warm. Load of character and quirky details in the house, so much nicer than a hotel!

Lovely and typical Yorkshire cottage, very well furnished and equipped. The real log burning stove plenty of wood survive was a real bonus. We would highly recommend Joy’s cottage.

Caroline is an excellent and attentive host (although provides lots of privacy) and her place was perfect for our needs. Clean and well equipped, and even with a Christmas tree as we visited in December. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again when in the area. Thank you Caroline

15 minute drive to the auditorium where we were working for the week. Comfy bed, good shower, plenty of parking. 4 double beds, 4 sets of keys so we could come and go as we please. No complaints from us. Great everything. Thanks very much.

Great place for the money Maybe a little tired but clean, warm and welcoming. Bed very comfortable. Hosts very friendly and great communication Location is close to bars and restaurants but we found it very quiet where we were staying. Parking outside if your lucky but theres a amall car park opposite. Overall a good stay

Everything was straight forward plenty of communication throughout our stay and leading up to it Very spacious accommodation with some lovely touches and extras Would like to suggest a set of drawers in each bedroom would be handy Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a good location Would definitely come again
