Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Brooklyn

Very nice appartment, close to subway. Takes only 40 minute to get at centre of the city. The appartment was clean, and everything looked quite new. Although we didn't see George he was very helpfull via chat or phone. Perhaps lucky that nobody was using the appartment directly after us, but we were able to extend the time to levae with some hours which gave us a half day extra to enjoy New York. For us certainly a nice place to stay for a visit to New York!!

Marianny's place is just like in the pictures, from an adorable pink door to each beautiful decor detail. There were not any noises from trafic which is lovely for everyone who wants a good night sleep. There are 2 spacious bedrooms and living room with kitchen area. Subway to Manhattan is close by. The appartement is on 3rd floor with narrow stairs so you get a little exercise each time. Really loved staying Mariannys place.

Great location to get to just about anywhere you need in the city. Having the whole floor with the office, bath, laundry and bedroom to yourself was great! The bath/shower situation was a little odd at first but I got used to it quickly. The office area and WiFi were perfect for getting some work done. Christine and Ben were very welcoming and made sure I was set up to take full advantage of my week.

This is my second time staying at Shane’s place I loved it as always . Shane responds very quickly, the house is clean and smells so good . I’ll definitely be booking again !

I've stayed in the surrounding area of Jersey City multiple times in the past and this was by far the best AirBnB location I've had. It's a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the Path station, making it easy to get to & from the EWR airport, as well as to & from NYC. The home is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, and has everything I needed for my stay. The local restaurants, bars, convenience store, grocery store, etc. are nearby as well, less than 1-block away, making it easy to get all the essential items needed for a stay. Rick was super responsive and accommodating during my stay, even providing helpful recommendations for places to visit. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will look to stay at this AirBnB for my future trips.

The place located in the nice location to reach to NY city and World Trade Center. That was easy to check in and place was nicer than the pictures. Two bedrooms are equally nice and bathroom were clean and modern. Glad to stay in this place. Recommend!

I have to say I thoroughly enjoy this place . We had such a wonderful time. It was nice and clean and warm. And that shower was absolutely amazing! Honestly 10 out of 10 I would recommend it!!!💙

Stayed at the property with the main objective of visiting Manhattan for New Years. Property met every requirement we had in that we were two families with 8 people a vehicle. Long term parking available diagonally across from the property and each of the 4 bedrooms accommodated two people and the beds were comfortable and hot water was always present for showers! The brownstone was beautiful, and access stairs were no issue for seasoned travelers. Well-appointed will all the basic amenities, PATH subway/ trains within 5-minute walk and took you straight into Manhattan with multiple stop options. Coffee shops in easy access for a morning cup of joe and restaurants in easy walking distance. Host was easily accessible through msg app as we had one request after our first day and then quickly responded and addressed our need. Would recommend for anyone with a group of up to 8 visiting in the local area. Wish we spent more time on the New Jersey side... something to aim for next time!

Jacquelines place was exactly as described - very clean. Very good location. Nice quiet neighborhood and a great part of Brooklyn. Close to restaurants and 50 yards to Subway. Highly recommended and Jacqueline is terrific host!

Beautiful, comfortable apartment in a nice building… The view from the rooftop was amazing… The bed was super comfortable and everything was as described… Lauren is a great host…

The place is absolutely perfect and if we come back to NY, we will stay here again! We spent 10 days at there and we loved it! Initially we booked a tiny hotel room in Manhattan, but this was a far better choice. The area is safe and silent, you can hear birds singing in the morning - and the main street with shops and restaurants only 2 blocks away. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and tastefully arranged. The communication with the host is ideal - very friendly, understanding, ready to help, answering very quickly. Getting to NY is quick and easy - we used Path train every day, we loved the ferry too. The bus stop is round the corner. You get all necessary info in the welcome book - shops, restaurants we tried and liked. You can run or bike by the river, few steps from the apartment or look for Frank Sinatra's houses as he was born and lived in Hoboken. And lastly, you can enjoy sunsets and sunrises over Manhattan from the roof deck or straight from your bedroom.

Great location if you're visiting New York. Walking distance to the Path train which takes you to the WTC (where there are a number of metro lines going into the city) or 33rd. Traveling takes more time than when you would stay in the city, but is also part of the trip. We absolutely enjoyed staying in New Jersey. It was nice to start and end the day with some quietness, in contrast to busy NYC. Lots of restaurants to have dinner, affordable prices and not as touristy as NYC. The apartment was great. Everything you needed. We travelled with two adults and two teenagers, so it was nice to have 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The welcome guide (send by e-mail but also available in the apartment) was really nice. If you still have to book your flight, it's easier (and cheaper) to get to the apartment from Newark than from JFK.
