Super friendly staff. We had an issue with hot water but where changed to a room immediately. You can really judge hospitality by the ability to find solutions to problems. The Hotel is very pleasant and clean. The area is perfect to go around the city ! Can’t wait to go back and see the rooftop when it’s done.

The service was excellent from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. We loved the aesthetic of the property. There was always a live person to help, and always someone to respond via chat. The location is stupendous, as the lower east side and surrounding area has some of the best eats in the city!

Great place to stay. It is about a 5 minute walk to the subway entrance so it was really easy coming and going to JFK. The room was small but clean, relatively quiet as well. We also appreciated that they have lockers so if you want to leave your luggage before or after checkout for a couple of hours you can. Will definitely stay here again.

A comfortable bed, clean bathroom with plenty of hot water, a frig and microwave were helpful to have. In room thermostat which made it easy to regulate the temperature. Coffee available in the lobby. Close to Whole Foods and other stores and restaurant and near subway stop.

Loved the place, conveniently located by metro and bus stops so you can get to all of the attractions within minutes. nice coffe places and restaurants all round plus you are in the Chelsea area so it's chill. if you just need a bed and a bathroom, this is it.

We had a great stay! The room is tiny so as long as you don’t expect to have a lot of space, you’ll love it. The bathroom was very nice, great shower with double shower head. Bed was comfy and the hotel is very charming and cozy. Would definitely stay here again. Gentleman at check in was lovely.

LOVED my stay here. As a first timer in NYC , the location was great (subway 2mins away) and walkable distance to some of the huge tourist attractions. The hotel was clean, safe: check in was super easy and staff were lovely. The price was also unbeatable. I would highly recommend!

Sohotel is a cool little boutique hotel in a great location near Chinatown and Little Italy. The decor is chic and moody, just how the ghosts like it. There are a few inviting, comfortable seating areas that are always empty of guests. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable, with a boho-industrial vibe. The pillows are super squishy. We had the family room with three beds. Each bed had a different level of softness — like the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The shower in our room had great water pressure. The front desk staff is helpful and accommodating. It was difficult to get in to the two restaurant/bars closest to the hotel, so we will be sure to make reservations the next time we stay there. We slept with the window open, but even with the windows closed, the hotel is above a bar with awesome drinks, so the sounds of folks partying was noisy. Music to my ears, but some people may want to bring a pair of foam ear plugs if they need silence to sleep.
