Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Kernville

Beautiful place, we had an excellent end of the year with my family. The house is spacious and very comfortable.

Kirstin’s place was absolutely perfect for a Christmas getaway. Relaxing and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. Very close to all you need in town. The fireplace in the master bedroom was a plus! Very nice to lay in bed, reading a book, with a ‘fire’ going, in winter. We’ll be back!

Great place to stay. Host is amazing. We had a small problem and he went out of his way to fix it.

Beautiful scenery and a peaceful stay. Great amenities and accommodations for all ages! Best of all, the beds were incredibly comfortable after a long day of adventure. Best sleep I’ve gotten in a while! Josh was a really great host! Will definitely be coming back for a longer stay next time!

Quito was great with communication and was quick to respond. Helpful and easy going. House was clean, comfortable and felt like home. Though there is nothing walking distance from the house, but the local attractions are just few minute drives away.

Our stay was great. James communicates early and often without being intrusive. We had a little user error when trying to unlock the door and James had us in the door in a jiffy. We booked for work-related stay, but don't hesitate to book for personal trips. Thanks for a great weekend!

The place was perfect the house is clean and free of clutter well stocked kitchen and comfortable living space. The beds were comfortable firm mattresses with great bedding. The shower is small but manageable. The play set was a hit with the kids the river toys and chairs were perfect and the bike park near by was amazing!

We absolutely loved this place! The property is so fun, we did not leave our entire stay. We had our 3 year old and 2 dogs with us and it was paradise for us all. We are already planning on coming back. The host was great as well, we had everything we needed in the home and all directions were clear and timely. Our stay at the rental house in Wofford Heights was absolutely wonderful! The house was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, making us feel right at home. Its location was perfect—just a 10-minute drive to Alta Sierra Ski Resort, making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes. The surrounding forest was serene and beautiful, offering a peaceful retreat. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this place!

Absolutely loved our stay here. It truly was exceptionally clean, which was really important to me. The location was great. You could walk into town. Walk you could walk down the street the opposite way to amazing trails. We also arrived when the weather was in the low 70s which is very unusual for February. It was perfect. We used the grill, and got to hang out outside in the tent and really appreciate the backyard I did miss not having a washing machine and dryer, but there is a laundromat in town. Also a microwave would be useful. The property was lovely. The backyard was perfect for our black Labrador Buzz 🐝. Overall, we had a fabulous time. Again I will say I was blown away with how clean it was. We would love to return…there are so many more trails to explore in Kernville.

Very nice, lots of space in personal character. You feel like you are at a home, not a place calibrated for renting, which we like. Great jacuzzi. And super quiet, calm and relaxing and yet very close to the Saloon and Sportsman (my Fav).

Outstanding. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The place was great, we had A ton of snow which made the stay even better. We will definitely Stay here again.

I grew up in thia area, and I was still in awe of how great of a place this was to relax and unwind. The property feels very private in spite of close neighbors. if you are lucky enough to be there in the spring, you will enjoy Tillie Creek views and sounds! hidden gem in the Kern River Valley, will definitely book again.

This is our 3rd stay here and we keep coming back because we always have a wonderful time. The view from balcony is gorgeous and you are just a short drive to Kernville. We also appreciate how clean the place is and the amenities to make the stay more comfortable like extra blankets, the patio fire pit, and kitchen ware.

Can’t say enough good things about my stay at Jim and Karen’s cabin. Beautiful scenery, super clean and the kindest mist hospitable hosts imaginable. Will absolutely be back.
