I needed a quiet location where I could have some assistance when needed and to be able to come and go when I needed to. There was always someone there to help if I needed it and my daughter and I felt we could relax when we needed to do that too.

My partner and I stayed at Treetops over Easter weekend for my birthday and absolutely loved it. The place is idyllic and cosy with a real home away from home feel and beautiful surroundings. Sam went the extra mile for us and made sure we had everything we needed. Two other parties of guests were staying in the Shepherd Huts on site while we were at Treetops but we barely noticed, we felt connected for anything we needed but still had plenty of privacy. We will definitely be back, thank you Sam! We'd also recommend other guests do the 40min walk to Henners Vineyard for a tour & tasting - amazing views!

Perfect for a short break with my mum....we both loved the place and the fact that it was so well situated with loads to do within a short drive. Claire was friendly and always very responsive to any questions. All on a level, which was great for my mum. Lovely decor....we liked the art, especially the album covers on the wall. Beautiful to have the sun flooding the whole place when we returned late afternoon...a bit chilly still in the April eve to fully appreciate the beautiful terrace outside, but we did sit out a little and enjoy the garden. Thoughtful touches such as milk and lovely bathroom/shower products. We have already recommended to someone else and may well be back!

Peaceful location and gardens, v cosy little place. We enjoyed relaxing in the garden, visiting the village and nearby areas; the reservoir, Sissinghurst and Hastings. James and Sarah were very responsive to our questions and requests.

We had a super couple of days staying for the Brighton marathon. Easy travel into Brighton from Hassocks. Beautiful walks around the Jack and Jill Windmills and South Downs Way.

We had a lovely stay, the little house was clean, cosy and warm, everything you need, we explored the area for walks. We walked to the local pub , The Fox Inn they where very friendly the food was nice. We went to the Parrot at Forest Green for a Sunday Roast which was great. Horsham is near if you fancy a potter around the shops and pick up some bits. Guildford was 30 minutes away also another lovely day there too. Thank you we enjoyed our visit.

Back again. My home away from home when visiting Shalford. The cottage is charming and so serene and quiet. Amanda and Ben and the dogs are all so welcoming.

A very cosy and peaceful place with good interiors . Stayed there during Brighton marathon weekend .Paul was very responsive and helped us out with local advice.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Eleanor's from even before my arrival when Eleanor kindly let me know her place was ready early. When I arrived there were welcome sweets and biscuits which was so nice and Eleanors place is so beautiful I felt right at home. Eleanor was super responsive when I had any questions. We enjoyed our stay at Carolin’s cabin. It was very much as advertised, extremely clean and generally well-appointed. Carolin was friendly and super responsive, which was much appreciated. I would certainly recommend her property to other guests!

The unit was immaculate, it had everything one needed for a comfortable stay. Instructions for using electrical equipment were easy to follow. The views were great & the walks were good. Andrea was friendly & quick to respond.

Compact but cosy space, perfectly located for visiting our friends who live around the corner at Fiveways. The free parking space is an absolute bonus as parking around the area is not straightforward! Everything was spotlessly clean and communication with Pascale was excellent.

100% recommend!!! location was stunning, with gorgeous views. everything listed was there, so easy to find, easy to park. so I was there to get ready for my wedding day which was only down the road so it was a fantastic place for my and my couple of girls to get ready in the day. also then was a gorgeous place for me and my new husband to have our first night together. so lovely, peaceful and I felt so relaxed. Emma and her husband were amazing hosts and I couldn't have asked for anything more. very appreciative for such an amazing stay 💛

Great stay at Dragons nest, facilities very clean and tidy and surrounding areas beautiful along with nice walks and easy links to surrounding villages and coast. Very nice stay for a small family. Thank you

The Garden Room was a peaceful location for us to visit family and friends. My son found the sofa bed really comfortable, and the double was perfect. The kitchen was spotless and have everything we needed. Laura’s instructions to find the house are clear, and helped me find the quiet lane. It’s situated right by the gallops which was ideal for walking our dog. We would love to base ourselves from there again.

We have stayed in quote a few airbnb locations and prefer it to staying in hotels and i have to say this is by far one of the best experiences I have every had with a host. Simply perfect. Responsive to small requests and highly recommended to anyone that wants a hassle free experience. The Hove coast - a shortish walk away - is relaxing and chilled and overall a lovely stay. Exceptionally Good Whispering Waves is an entire guest house to yourself. It’s beautiful. We were four friends seeking a break and what we found here was an exceptional experience. The beach access is just across the road. The sea view is AMAZING! The strolls along the cliffs are fantastic. Parking was easy in the driveway and self check in was convenient. The location is perfect —very close to Brighton train station and Brighton centre. Easy to take a taxi from train station as not far. We managed to visit Seven Sisters. A bus stop just around the corner. Lots of pubs and restaurants just across the street. Very vibrant area bustling with activities. It provided us the best of both worlds. The guest house was pristine, beautifully designed. It has everything you need from a dishwasher to a washing machine. Very comfortable. Nights were so clear. WOW! We spent the evening in the patio sofa. Will definitely come back. A perfect base for us.

Really enjoyed our time here. The space felt larger than it had looked from the photos and the garden aspect and birdsong exceeded my expectations. Very clean, quiet and comfortable and a well equipped kitchen. A fantastic location to get away from it all and a great base to explore the local area - Seven Sisters cliff walk, the South Downs, the delightful village of Alfriston and Lewes.

I’ve just come back from a 6 day stay. The decider for me was the dog sitting service! I needed a place that was near to Brighton, Worthing and Shoreham for various family events but having my dog in tow meant I couldn’t take him to all dos but Wes and his family took care of him and I can’t thank them enough! They made my stay stress free and although I didn’t stay in the annex for long, it was a quiet haven I needed to escape to after some busy, long days. The annex itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enough for me and the pooch. First few days I was on my own and felt safe. My 15 year old niece then joined me and Sarah made up the sofa bed for her. I’d say the annex is just big enough for the 2 of us, it would’ve been a bit of a squeeze for a third person. I loved the bathroom, big and spacious with a great shower! Now I have found this little gem I will definitely stay again! Thank you Wes and family x

An excellent property and location. Beautifully laid out and very well equipped with everything needed for a stay. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, but not obtrusive. Very welcoming for pets, although our dog didn't spot any of the promised squirrels, badgers or deer ! Our second visit, and would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay at this place! Julia and Russell were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and responsive. Julia went out of her way to accomodate us during our stay. We were very impressed by how well designed the unit is, which makes excellent use of the space. It is very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The neighbourhood is peaceful and picturesque, and we found it easy to get to the city and Brighton beach by bus. Thank you again!
