Vacation rentals in Kawarau Falls

We had a wonderful stay! The house is spacious, clean and well appointed. It fit our large family perfectly. The views are incredible. Would highly recommend!

Photos don’t do the view justice. Jeremy was a great host. This is a cabin type experience. We stayed in the winter and used the cottage as a home base for skiing and other activities which was great. Quick ride over to Arrowtown and Queenstown but far away enough to feel private and peaceful. Some important points regarding previous reviews I read about the place being “cold”…the ground floor is all slate stone…as Jeremy recommended, just bring some sandals or slippers to wear around. There is a large heat pump, a lovely pot belly stove, and space heaters and all the beds have blanket heaters which we actually didn’t use because they were too hot…so it’s easy to stay warm and the view and coziness are well worth it, but if you’re expecting a thermostat in a hotel room that you set and leave…this wouldn’t be the place for you. We loved our stay and the host was very responsive.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and stylish. Sararose had thought of every detail one might need on holiday in her holiday home. The view from the deck was stunning . The apartment was close to a bus route to Queenstown and it was walkable to restaurants and Olsen spa pools. Sararose and her partner Jules were warm , kind and friendly hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The views are simply stunning. The home and outdoor terrace are extremely spacious, we were a group of 8 and the house was easily able to accommodate us. We had a couple issues while there with a malfunctioning hot tub and and broken washing machine. The host was very responsive and guided us through a hot tub reset and they arranged washing machine repair within 24 hours which was impressive over the Christmas public holidays. Overall we felt the property was clean and the photos were accurate. We’d happily come back here again. If I had to be picky and offer one criticsm it’s the towels which were small and not that soft. Large luxurious bath sheets would be more appropriate for this high end property!

The home location is awesome, with views facing the lake. With outdoor furniture in the patio, this made for a perfect evening sunset view. House was in pristine condition, with clear instructions and lots to do, especially the game room with ping pong table, games, foosball table, etc. The host was very responsive, addressed all questions. The Overall an excellent place to stay in Queenstown.

Top notch in all aspects! Definitely recommended, especially for families with kids seeking modern comfort in a peaceful neighborhood.

Cannot say enough good things about Roslyn and her apartment! Location and view are unbeatable. The price is well worth it. Roslyn was friendly, responsive, and always willing to help. This rental is at the very top of our list for a return trip to Queenstown!

Great place to stay near Queenstown. About 10 minutes from the airport, 20 to downtown, and right down the road from the Remarkables Ski area entrance. There’s a restaurant in the neighborhood that’s open all day and it was very convenient to walk there any time we wanted.
