If you're looking for a little slice of Paradise a lazy 5 min walk to Ruakaka beach don't go past Donna's place. It's welcoming, has everything you need, great hot water shower (indoor & outdoor are both hot!) and the beds are super cozy with beautiful crisp linen. The perfect getaway for a couple or a crowd. 11 out of 10! This place ticked all our boxes and absolutely exceeded our expectations! Private, gorgeous views and had everything we needed for a weekend away! We loved having an evening drink on the deck and watching the sunset in the hot tub! Silv and Steve were such wonderful hosts! They were friendly, genuine, generous and really walked the extra mile for us. Could not recommend their beautiful place enough!

"We had the pleasure of staying at Jessica's house for the second time, and it was just as wonderful as our first visit! The property is clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

What a fabulous house! Set in gorgeous gardens with lovely views from all windows the accommodation is spacious and very well designed. The colour scheme and carefully chosen artwork foster a sense of calm. Supremely comfortable beds and sofa. There is a generous deck and comfy outdoor furniture. The kitchen is very well equipped and the two bathrooms are modern with excellent showers. Toni is a great host who has thought of everything to make her guests feel at home, with an added touch of luxury.

We had an amazing stay at this well appointed home. A bonus beyond the magnificent views of the bay was the yard. It felt like we were in botanical gardens. We even picked lettuce and tomatoes to make a salad for lunch. It was sad to leave. Also, the native birds are abundant and we twice heard a Kiwi. So fun!

Beautiful location, beautiful home. Clean & tidy very inviting with an instant at home feel to it. Lovely place to relax with family with a beautiful ocean view to match! Highly recommend.

What a gem! Absolutely gorgeous spot - there are many things to do in the area and I still had a hard time getting everyone out of the house - All they wanted to do is enjoy the space and the incredible view from the deck with private beach entry 😄 The house is equipped very well with everything you may need in the kitchen and great outdoor living amenities The beds were comfy and fresh flowers around the house were a lovely touch Thank you again for hosting us Ceri/Elaine - will definitely be back and already recommended your place to all my friends

Beautiful secluded air bnb in a prime spot. The house looked exactly like the pictures 😊 quick and responsive communication as well which helped a lot. Would highly recommend and will book again when I head back up. Thank you again x

This airbnb was incredible. It was peaceful & quiet, in a beautiful area, right on the water. The room was immaculately clean & I felt so comfortable being there. The amenities were exceptional, washing machine available which was so handy. I wish we had stayed longer. The neighbours (?) cat sensed we were cat people and got it’s fair share of pats. Highly recommend staying here at Raewyn & Theo’s.

Superb balcony views from an elevated position. The hot tub was an added bonus. Peter gave us a welcoming run down of how to operate things which was very useful. Really enjoyed our stay.

The Stairs are worth the Effort. Highly Recommended. The Penthouse is a perfect place to stay when in Paihia. The location is ideal and within walking distance of the shops and beaches, the ferry over to Russel and out onto school road for the Lookout Track. The elevation gives you a great perch to look out onto the coast and outwards, which is great for relaxing after a day of activities. The Apartment is well equipped with all the kitchen ware you may need, the filtered water and the coffee machine are a great touch. Finally, Ange & Nic were very responsive, both before and during our stay, answering all our questions as they arose.

You just can’t beat this location! Walkable to the ferry and many restaurants. And the view is incredibly beautiful!

Comfortable clean accommodation with everything needed for a short stay.

Absolutely loved staying at Laura’s property. Such a light and bright space with plenty of room. The views were incredible and the lounge, bedroom and deck were a real sun trap. Great location between Mangōnui and Coopers Beach. Wish I’d stayed longer. Thanks for having me Laura.

A lovely home with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Come for the home stay for the view! A spectacular vista, from the Whiria Pa, across the harbour to the golden sand dunes. Also, a great selection of books to while away the hours 🙂 We had the generous bonus of using the down stairs spa as there were no guests. perfect!

A beautiful apartment right in the Opua Marina. The view of the boats was peaceful. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully decorated, and super-clean. We had everything we needed for our six-night stay. It’s a short drive to Pahia, and the car ferry makes getting to Russell easy. The hiking track from Opua to Pahia is fantastic. The Marina has a great cafe (live music on Sunday night), a well-stocked general store with pizza and ice cream, and a great take-away spot with fish and chips, burgers, etc. If you’re looking for crazy night life, this isn’t for you. But if you looking for a lovely apartment in a peaceful setting with fantastic views, book it!

It was a lovely relaxing spot to spend a week in a rural setting with sea views out to the Poor Knights islands. A large property, accessed off a private road so very secluded and peaceful. Handy location half way between Matapouri Bay and Tutukaka, although you do need a car to go anywhere. Kitchen was very well equipped including basic supplies. Access to an indoor swimming pool, ability to charge the EV, and use of the laundry was a bonus. The hosts were very welcoming on arrival and explained the facilities and beach access path. Special touches were a bottle of wine and locally made nut brittle on arrival, and acknowledgement of our wedding anniversary which was during our stay. Annette and Bianca were super helpful and responded promptly to any questions.

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM

This is not just accommodation; it's#a first class experience that inspires & rejuvenates! It was hard to leave!

Vicki hosted me, my partner and our cat as I had business to attend to in Whangārei. The place was just as described in the listing with clear instructions and prompt communication which suited our needs. Vicki was also understanding of our travel arrangements and was able to accomodate our added request which I appreciated. I didn't get a chance to write in the visitor's book but I sure would've shared the same positive feedback. A highlight for me was seeing a kererū in the tree (which I don't get to see in Auckland). Our cat had a blast and was settled.

Margaret and Glen were perfect hosts. Their place is spectacular, with views that are hard to beat. The only down side was that our stay was too short.
