We came from a family of 5 from parents and 2 teenagers. We received rooms. Beautiful when each one has an en-suite toilet/ shower room. Beautiful sight of the very lake recommended. Picturesque village.

We stayed in Evangelia's apartment for 2 nights when we visited Kerkini National Park. The apartment is spacious and functionally furnished, you will find everything you need for a few days. Evangelia's mother lives on the ground floor and welcomed us, she was always responsive to questions, etc., in the end she even gave us delicious homemade pastries on the way:-) Lake Kerkini can be reached in a few minutes by car from Ano Poroia, we did a canoe tour and a safari with an ATV, both really worth it. We were able to watch flamingos, pelicans and many other birds and also saw the water buffalo up close. In Ano Poroia itself there is a small city center with a few tavernas, a supermarket is in the neighboring village. We highly recommend the tavern "Irini" in Akritochori, which was the culinary highlight of our trip!

Vaso was very friendly and he gave us the best advice to walk around. We are looking forward to come back.
