Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Karikari Peninsula

Everything was perfect! From the very comfortable bed to a great shower! We loved the quirky interior, so many nice touches. “Esmeralda” is a lovely place, nice and quiet and just a few km from Paihia, would 100% recommend!

This beautifully decorated home is spacious enough for six adults, one child and two toddlers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the kitchen is fully equipped, dining table is big enought to accomodate all of us and the bedrooms are spacious. Separate towels were provided for the beach. Toys, games and reading materials provided makes it homely. The host is responsive and very accomodating. Check in was a breeze.

Well situated. Enjoyed the view. Clean and tidy. Well stocked with all essential items. Good communication.

Our five days at Kay’s apartment were fabulous. Everything about this spacious apartment surpassed our expectations and the views are exceptional! We enjoyed both brilliant sunshine and some dreary wet days. The weather didn’t matter as it was always a delight to look out over the bay. It’s a 10 minute easy walk into Paihai where we caught the ferry to Russell and on another day to Urupukapuka. Both worth visiting. We also walked 15 minutes in the opposite direction to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds where we were pleased to learn a lot more about the Māori culture and history of the area. No matter how busy we were during the day, the highlight was coming back to Kay’s beautiful apartment for a bbq on the deck or meal indoors. Thankyou Kay. We will have to return to use the kayaks as we were too busy this trip.

This is a great place to stay to enjoy all that Whangarei offers. It is very peaceful, very comfortable, very clean, and has all that you need to cater at home if you wish. Graham and Lea go "the extra mile" to make you feel at home with freshly baked bread, homemade jams and other "goodies". They are excellent hosts, I was very happy there. Checkin was easy and communication was clear and responsive. I think it is very good value for money compared to other rentals. Another plus is that it is walking distance (10-15 mins) to Whangarei's Town Basin. (Note the walk is reasonably steep so you need to have some level of mobility). Thank you Graham and Lea, I really enjoyed my stay.

The ocean view was priceless and the lush surroundings with wild flowers picturesque. The property was beautifully oriented with a heated pool overlooking the turquoise ocean and beautiful harbours with boats speeding through to other surrounding islands.

We have the best time at Peter house, from sunrise to sunset your place it’s magical all around. Stunning views, amazing surroundings, great hikes and the beach was perfect for the kids. We paddle board and spent lots of time fishing shells on the beach. Peter house had everything we needed and he was so responsive. Thanks Peter and we definitely be back.

Jenny was awesome. The place had beautiful views and had everything we needed for our two night stay. Would highly recommend this location to stay in the area to see Cape Reinga and 90 Mile beach as well as everything else this area has to offer.

Had a fabulous week staying at Tonya’s place - it has a wonderful relaxed feel with a Russell cottage charm mixed in with modern renovations that ensured our stay was very comfortable and cosy. We had a wonderful stay at Douglas's place. It is very close to the beach, has great views, and it's very clean and comfortable. If anything, the description and photos on Airbnb don't do it justice! It's really a perfect place for a holiday. Douglas (and his brother William) is an amazing host who took us on a successful kiwi spotting walk in our first night! Top class hospitality in a beautiful part of the world.

A lovely home with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Come for the home stay for the view! A spectacular vista, from the Whiria Pa, across the harbour to the golden sand dunes. Also, a great selection of books to while away the hours 🙂 We had the generous bonus of using the down stairs spa as there were no guests. perfect!

The Otehei apartment is just as listed - beautiful with luxurious & comfortable furnishings! The apartment is super clean. It’s one of those places that make it hard to leave and go about your daily activities, as it’s many windows and skylights create a bright & relaxing space. Very clear instructions for arrival & easy check-in.

Amazing place. Such incredible views over the sea. Met with the owner who gave us lots of recommendations including how to get to their own mermaid pool! Loved we were able to walk around the vineyard, visit the llamas, donkeys and pigs too! The pool was great and my little one loved swimming it. We were given some milk and their own wine to sample which was amazing. Would highly recommend this place. One of the best AirBnBs we have stayed.

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM
