Monthly Rentals in Kansas City Metropolitan Area

I was delighted to stay in Annette's place. The room was perfectly conform with the description. I was a bit afraid about the height of the appartment since I'm pretty tall, but it wasn't at all an issue. The appartment is basically made of two rooms, a bathroom and a small terrasse. The second room is not a kitchen, but it is a place where two persons can eat, although it's not big. There is a microwave, a coffee machine, a toaster and a fridge with a freezer. You cannot really cook but you can make yourself sandwiches or heat a prepared meal. There is no sink nor washing machine but you may wash your clothes at a washroom that is 15 mn away by walking. The heating system is ok although the insulation is not great. I stayed in Annette's place for a month and a half during fall (October 14 to November 28) and I must also say that Annette is very friendly and the neighborhood is calm.

Taylor and her partner were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay, the studio was cozy, and the area had multiple excellent restaurants and bars. I'm definitely happy with my stay! A few notes to help others: there is a small table and two chairs which suffice for using a laptop, but may not be comfortable for working from all day. Also, I initially was a bit confused on how to enter the garage with my vehicle, but it's easy if you travel West past the SOHO Lofts main entrance at the AirBnB address and then turn right past the Asian Cafe on the corner (great place to eat, too). You want the two angled garage doors mid-way along the block on your right.

A wonderful location and compact self-contained studio. Perfect for a business trip. The room is more characterful than it looks too –– liked the Juliet balcony and the building is interesting architecturally. Ideal spot with lots of walkable shops and next to a creek for a peaceful walk. Hosts clear, friendly and quick with communications.
