Honestly, this is by far the best place that I have stayed at, while in Kakamega. Very clean and quiet environment with a very responsive hosts. The place was cleaned everyday, with fresh bedsheets, towels and clean drinking water provided. Perfect local in a private compound. Excellent value for money. Looking forward to my next stay

Humphrey’s place is so far the best in Kakamega! I will start with the host himself: Humphrey is very responsive, kind and caring! Talk of someone going above and beyond! One day I had a visitor who arrived late and I didn’t have anyone to pick them up from the bus stop, as I was figuring out how to send a ride, the caretaker came and informed me that Humphrey was on the way to pick them up.Wow! I was so humbled! The care taker: David is so helpful and always around in case we needed anything.Very respectful guy! He even offered to clean my car! The home: The home is spotlessly clean! The house is neatly arranged and the showers were very hot! Very serene environment. We were able to rest well at night after hectic days. If you need a place to unwind away from hustles and bustles of town, this is the place. You will never go wrong with Humphrey’s place! I highly recommend! Thank you so much for hosting us!

The apartment is perfect for a work stay. I enjoyed the peace , quiet and the environment. Perfect for an evening walk towards the air strip. Hygiene standards are top notch and the host is very responsive. Thanks Elsam. I look forward to my next stay.
