Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kaanapali Beach

The location was good for us with easy access to the beach and other island sites. House is well stocked with kitchen accessories, beach going toys, towels, chairs, boogie boards, etc. Owners were responsive and communicated well. House was spacious and met our needs.

We had a really nice stay at Peter’s place! The house is clean, the neighborhood is safe, and there is ample space. We enjoyed all the space in the kitchen to cook and found the location really convenient for all of our Maui activities. We also enjoyed sitting in the garden a couple mornings. Would recommend staying here, there was nothing missing and all “home” amenities were there (cooking oil, salt, etc)

We loved our 5 night stay at this cottage! It was clean inside, and the bed was comfortable. It was a quiet place to stay. The covered patio was private and a perfect spot to have coffee in the morning. Paia is wonderful place, and we loved the walkability to Mana Foods, shops and wonderful restaurants! It was a good spot to start the Road to Hāna from as well. We were able to walk to or take a very short drive to some beautiful beaches. We look forward to returning to Paia and staying here again.

The villa is amazing and an incredible place for families looking to make memories in Maui. The location is a short drive to anything you need. The home was stocked with toys, and beach supplies, and had ample space for our girls to run around. The space is quiet, safe, and clean. I’m happy with our stay here and would book again in a heartbeat.

Such a lovely home! Beautiful location! Very sweet and helpful host. She went out of her way to make us feel at home and cared for. We are so thankful for the time we had with her!

Affordable, clean and very hospitable hosts! They loaned us some chairs and boards as well which was very kind of them. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone else that plans to visit Maui and wants a very cozy stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Turtle House. Poni was wonderful, location made us feel like we were locals. Beaches were amazing, so many fun restaurants to choose from. Her guide book was second to none, recommendations were spot on. We will definitely stay here again.

So happy to have stayed here. Felt like a very central location and the home was so cozy. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood, and a great size home to come back to after the beach. The hosts were so kind to even have a delicious pie waiting for us in the fridge. I would not only stay here again, but I would also definitely recommend it to others.

John's place was just what we were looking for. The location was perfect and the beach access was wonderful. The condo had everything we needed. There are county pickleball courts between building D and the beach, but be prepared to double up with expert players in early mornings. Afternoons can be quite windy (gusty) at this location. There are plenty of beach chairs at the pool, but more umbrellas are needed imo. Overall a wonderful expereince.

Manolo is a very helpful and proactive host. He made sure that we were okay and had everything we needed. House is pretty, with a beautiful yard. Manolo has snorkeling equipment, flippers, boogie boards, etc. House is close to the restaurants of Paia Bay (10 min walking), which is great because parking is always a problem in Maui.

Wow what a beautiful location! Within a few steps of a tranquil beach where we saw turtles swimming and watched the beautiful sunset as well as morning yoga and swimming. Everything was close by including grocery stores and restaurants and we had the luck of being there for live music on the 4th Friday. Tamsen’s townhouse is probably the best equipped Airbnb I’ve stayed at - we had everything we needed included beach towels, cooler bags and access to the pool and grill area. Perfect !

We loved our stay in Paia! The space was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed to enjoy the beach, which was walking distance to the place. It was also walking distance to Mama's Fish House and a short drive into Paia town. The perfect place to stay to get an early start for the Road to Hana!

Location, location! Comfortable studio and property steps away from the ocean. Sunsets are incredible from the balcony! We loved our stay and had a great time away! Beach chairs and umbrellas are offered to guests. Derrick was friendly and answered our questions quickly. Moreover, we have got a privilege to be invited to Thanksgiving Dinner made by two Chefs on our last day. We would like to recommend the place to other people. Mahola!

Brie's AirBnB was the perfect mini vacation for us and our children. Highlights: We enjoyed going out the back patio to the private pool on the property. The AirBnB is on the ground floor which also made it easier to come and go. But the main part is we ALL felt at home. Plenty food places to go to. We went to Nalu's and Kihei Caffe :) We are so very grateful synchronicity brought us to Brie's Airbnb. Mahalo for the last-minute booking!

We loved our stay! We enjoyed being at the start of the road to Hana so we could easily check out the rainbow Eucalyptus trees before the morning rush. There were some delightful cafes nearby. Amy was very responsive and helpful when I had an unexpected medical need. Thanks again for a great trip!

Would stay here again! So much space especially for 2 people and was very clean!

We loved our stay at Mae’s. There are 3 pools in the community but it is also a 5 minute walk to the beach. Mae has plenty of beach equipment to use as well as tennis rackets and grill equipment. The apartment is a short walk to local bars and restaurants and also very quiet and felt very private. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking and the bathroom had full sized body wash and shampoo which was a real treat. Definitely would stay here again when we return to Kihei!

This little gem of a place was such a nice find! I had a lovely stay, with the beach waves right out back and a heated pool out front, how could you go wrong? Matt was a very kind and responsive host.

My family of 4 (two adults, two young children) stayed at Ed and Cherie's condo for 6 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. We appreciated the amenities that were available, especially beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach blanket, sand toys, a high chair, and a pack n play. The kitchen had basic ingredients including olive oil, spices, and some condiments. The back bedroom stayed cool enough to sleep if we left the door open and the living room A/C unit on overnight, but with only the fans and window open it was stuffy for us. The master bedroom was pleasantly chilly by morning.

Marc and Kelli were lovely to deal with and quick to respond to any inquiries. The space felt like home and was well designed, decorated, and had almost everything we needed! The area isn’t super walkable but the grounds are beautiful and well kept. The pool was clean and not too busy! Would definitely stay here again :)

Rebecca's place was great! her communication was timed well and thorough. The location of this condo can't be beaten!

It was an amazing location. It’s located next to a surf/sup rental. We walked across the street and put in. We couldn’t believe how perfect the spot was! Close to Charley You g beach for snorkeling, Wailea, and the sunsets in your backyard. Also Paia fish company is two blocks down. Score!

Perfect condo for hanging out at Charlie Young Beach. Walk to the beach and snorkel, walk to food cart pods, gelato, and cinnamon rolls. Walk to snorkel shops, souvenir shopping , a luau and the grocery store. Host very communicative. We had. A great vacation and would rent this condo again when we return to Kihei. Thank you for hosting us.
