Feathertail is a wonderful place. I was there just for two nights, but immediately felt at home when I arrived and left rejuvenated. Merryl was kind enough to help me with unforeseen transportation issues, and it was generally clear that she truly cared about my experience and comfort at Feathertail. If you're at all athletically inclined, I highly recommend the hike to Mermaid Mountain - the view is just stunning, as are the plants and animals on your way there. Super technical tip: download the map of Brisbane on MAPS. ME and record your route, so you can track it on the way back if needed.

We were looking for a quiet and children-friendly place to spend the weekend. Jodie's horse farm was perfect and the children enjoyed feeding and brushing the horses, sitting around the campfire and watching the outdoor Saturday night Disney movie. And of course horsing around in the pool. Jodie was helpful in all respects and was the perfect host.

Very nice place to stay for a couple of days. Very clean, comfortable, spacious with tranquil bush views. Great modern open plan ensuite. Everything was well considered with some delightful extra touches. We ordered breakfast one day and that was a real treat.
