Host - Aunty is responsive, helpful, and chatty. You'll enjoy her company. You can make special requests in food or anything else you might need ;). Location - It's located down the road, there are two paths to take, 1 easier, 1 tougher, both adventurous and beautiful. Hosts (Aunty, her husband and DIL) carry your luggage to and fro. The place is isolated from the road and other stays, and provides a quiet stay experience. Rooms - They are clean and spacious, large washrooms, beautiful balconies that can accommodate 5 people each for the chai-siddu-view chill mornings. When we visited they were still building the tree house but it looked nice. Food - Aunty feeds you home cooked, clean, tasty food - whatever you request. The siddu's are fantastic and the ghee is to die for.

Our stay was the highlight of our travels through Himachal Pradesh. This is a hidden gem in the mountains. It takes a little while to hike up, about 1 hour for able bodied persons, but it is so worth it. The place is totally secluded high on the mountain, so beautiful, peaceful, and has a world class view. Om Prakash ji and Asha ji were wonderful and very attentive hosts. They cooked for us on our last night there and it was delicious. Om Prakash took us to the summit of Labhri top. He spent the whole day hiking with us and packed us a lunch of parathas and chai. It cost extra (1,500 Rs), but highly recommend it for those who like hiking and lead an active lifestyle. Pretty strenuous hike at times, but the view from the top makes it all worth it. The journey is quite beautiful too. All in all the place, our hosts - Om Prakash and Asha, and our time there was completely charming. We really hope to return soon.

Honestly, this stay was the highlight of our trip! The place is beautiful beyond words, and yes it's exactly how it looks in the photos. It gave us an authentic experience of living in the mountains. This place is on top of a mountain, and hiking down to this place from the road, we felt like actual pahadis ❤️ The views are stunning, the caretakers Pooja and Hemant were also very kind and made us feel at home all the time. Another highlight was the view of the night sky with bonfire! Will remember this trip forever! Highly recommend this experience..

So special, peaceful and magical. From the moment I came- Megh and his beautiful family were there to take me with a taxi from the most close city and after to drive me to the home. The space is quiet, peaceful and has lovely people living around. The beautiful smell of the wood oven fire places, the sound of nothing in the morning as you enjoy a tea. You are really one with the mountains and forest. Yummy curries made with love from megh and his wife Rena. Chai. Aloo paratha, curd and pickles. I made most of my food and went for shopping in Banjar, the most close village. It is 1 hour walking but megh can drive you or take things for you- if you wish. If your interested in a beautiful walk in the sacred himalayas, my time here is an experience i will remember forever. The house is SO very comfy, great kitchen, warm blankets for winter as it can be very cold but with the sauna and fire its lovely. You can feel how much love went into this space and simones beautiful energy all around.
