Vacation rentals in Jaywick

Me hubby and youngest teen just back from a lovely long weekend here.. gorgeous apartment, stones throw from beach, pier, shops, restaurants etc. free parking too! what more could you ask for? Mark our host was great and super responsive, highly recommend. the only feedback would be a bigger bed in the amazing master bedroom would be perfect! Thanks for a great stay Mark!

A really lovely caravan and very clean with everything you could need. Although there is a pool and amenities on site, you have to pay to access these. We were only there for two nights and one full day, and swimming needs to be booked 24 hours in advance, so it wasn't worth the cost. We could access the arcade and bar during the day, but not after 6pm without paying for a pass. Would be worth the money for a longer stay.

Mick deserves the super host as he is super responsive, super friendly and super helpful, we had a great short stay there, the van is in great condition, nice and warm, got everything to make you feel home but away from home. highly recommend.

Our family plus our two dogs had such a great stay at Ola's. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The living room was so spacious and with the carpet, the dogs were very happy after a long days walk on the beach. Talking about the beach, it was only a quick 10 minute walk from Ola's place and once you were there, there's miles of beach you can walk along, whether you go to the north ( towards the fort) or south ( towards the wetlands). What made Ola's place feel like home was the attention to detail he put in. I hate it when you walk into a rented space and the usual comforts of your home isn't there. Simple things like having a nice little shelf in the bathroom to put all my face creams on was a small but important delight! It's obvious Ola has spent time thinking about what his guests would need and want!

Amazing home right next to the beach and super close to the high street with all the restaurants and shops perfect for our short stay.

David and Jo were excellent hosts. Every little detail had been carefully thought out, and taken care of. They were extremely kind and thoughtful throughout our stay, and could not have been more helpful. The cottage itself is so charming, and beautifully presented. Quiet and peaceful, a perfect haven to come back to. We will most definitely be back.

Scarlet’s caravan is pristine and comfortable plus the outside space is a real bonus. It’s a couple of minutes walk to the seashore which has great views over the estuary with lots of different birds at low tide including oystercatchers, curlews, turnstones and ringed plovers. You can catch the foot passenger ferry from the nearby country park to Brightlingsea which is a great day out. West Mersea is fantastic for seafood - try the Company Shed for sweet tasting oysters and fresh, fresh crab. Scarlet is an excellent host, she even replied to a text from me on her hen night. You can’t ask for more than that! A word of caution, we didn’t read through the full list of amenities so missed that towels are not provided! No criticism of Scarlet, and a lesson to me. All in all a great experience and we would definitely return

Comfortable, cozy stay in a rural farm stay. We used public transport to get there. Buses are ~2.5 hours apart. There is a village shop 15 min walk away which has small selection of frozen food/sandwiches/milk/bread/egg and other groceries. Own vehicle is preferred to explore the area properly. Kids were happy to see the animals and feed them. Wendy rightly informed us that swimming pool was not operational at that moment before accepting our request.
