Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Jackson County

This was a great place to get together with a few family members the day after Thanksgiving. Cozy and good for hanging out.

Gene was great and very hospitable. He recommended local attractions and places to eat and was very responsive. The house was better than expected and really clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed.

Very nice place! Will be back. Joe’s fish shack was delicious also!

Alto Cabin is one of the best appointed places we have rented. You name it and it was there right down to the spice drawer in the kitchen. It has great hang out spaces and we loved the hot tub and solo stove! We hope to come back again next year and do more hiking.

Victoria is a gem and this place is so special! My family is from Southern Illinois but we mostly all live scattered across the country now. We came together for a funeral and needed to be together for feeling the family support joy and love that our family has always had. This house provided us with exactly what we needed. Plenty of shared space with comfortable seating, privacy in each guest room along with private bathrooms in each room. Gorgeous wrap around porch overlooking the pound! Absolute perfection. A must if coming to Southern Illinois! And Victoria is 4 minutes away if there’s anything you have a question about or need. We enjoyed it sooooo much we plan to rebook for future holiday celebrations together! Truly holds a very special memory for my family now. Thank you!

We loved how the history of the house stayed with it. We loved the fact you left memories of the owner. When we pulled in we thought the house was going to be so tiny and that it wasn't going to work. once we walked in we were totally shocked. There was tons of room, upstairs and downstairs. It was so peaceful and homey.

I cant rave enough about our stay! The house is fabulous! I absolutely LOVED the decor and the renovations that have been done. I wish I had that kitchen. It was bigger than we needed but was in the location we wanted. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. We had clear instructions for entry and felt immediately at home. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Nice clean linens and those towels! Soft, thick, and over sized. It was a perfect getaway and I didn't want to leave.

We've stayed here before, always a pleasure and good location. Highly recommend.

Great place! Close to the downtown strip and restaurants. The place was very cozy. I personally loved the little labels everywhere saying where everything was. It made it easy to find to everything we would need.

Simply a great place. Loved the private balcony. Walking distance to several restaurants and right next to a micro brewery was wonderful. Hope to stay here again next time I'm in town.

My husband and I had a great time. The apartment was very clean and in a great location. The host was great. He communicated with me throughout the stay to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay at this location again!!!

This was our 2nd time staying here and it was just as remembered and as just as good as we remembered. We love staying here. It is a great place with great views!

Wonderful hosts! Planning on staying here each time we travel as this property is perfect after a long day of driving. Frank and Gail are very friendly and make sure their guests are comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommend booking this property!
