Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Jackson County

We've been to the Shawnee Hills area several times and this was by-far our favorite place we've stayed. It was clean, beautiful, peaceful and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. With the long MLK weekend, we split our time between visiting the wineries and enjoying Beth's home. There was an ice storm a few days prior to our arrival, so there were power outage problems. Beth texted me the Ameren info before we arrived back at the home. It was like 'glamping', as we enjoyed the fireplace and the wines we had purchased. I will definitely check Beth's availability the next time we head south. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Victoria is a gem and this place is so special! My family is from Southern Illinois but we mostly all live scattered across the country now. We came together for a funeral and needed to be together for feeling the family support joy and love that our family has always had. This house provided us with exactly what we needed. Plenty of shared space with comfortable seating, privacy in each guest room along with private bathrooms in each room. Gorgeous wrap around porch overlooking the pound! Absolute perfection. A must if coming to Southern Illinois! And Victoria is 4 minutes away if there’s anything you have a question about or need. We enjoyed it sooooo much we plan to rebook for future holiday celebrations together! Truly holds a very special memory for my family now. Thank you!

We loved how the history of the house stayed with it. We loved the fact you left memories of the owner. When we pulled in we thought the house was going to be so tiny and that it wasn't going to work. once we walked in we were totally shocked. There was tons of room, upstairs and downstairs. It was so peaceful and homey.

Jessica's place is exactly as advertised. The house is clean and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. I have stayed with Jessica many times and will continue to do so. Jessica's place is a must stay and ranked at top of my list.

Everything about this place was splendid!! Even in the winter! The place was VERY clean, well-kept, and just felt welcoming!! It was the perfect quiet get-a-way with gorgeous views! We would LOVE to check this lovely place out again in the spring, summer, or fall. Kevin was very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Very charming! We would LOVE to visit again.

If you are looking for a nice old house in a neat little town this is it. We had our family visit us from the area and it was a perfect place to host from. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking a breeze. Also the host was very responsive to any questions we had about the house and the area. We will definitely stay here again if we will be in the area!

Unit is right on main street. Unit is great for a couple or couple with small child. I have been here many times. The check-in process could not be any easier, which is very important to me.

Very nice apartment in a great location. Very quick walk to multiple spots downtown. Lots of amenities in the apartment and the check in and out procedure is very easy! A wonderful spot to stay when visiting Cape!

Gail & Frank’s place was exactly as described. It was a very cozy place. Meticulously clean, great neighborhood, and close to SEMO which made it great for visiting our daughter. The bed was so comfortable and the little details such as milk, little cereal boxes, coffee and tea did not go unnoticed. We would definitely stay here again!
