Vacation rentals with beach access in Isles of Scilly

Lovely cosy place to stay, short walk to immaculate beaches. Nice bakery nearby. Hightown quay down the road. A perfect escape.

A very well equipped place to stay, about a 20 minute walk from the quayside in Hugh Town. We especially appreciated the extras that Christie thoughtfully included, such as beach towels, bath robes, and slippers together with the welcome pack. Christie was an excellent host, and communicated very well with us throughout the booking process. Overall, a great place to stay.

So many times you can read reviews of places that are upbeat and positive and when right they can indeed satisfy ones expectation. Well we can tell you that here you will find expectation exceeded time and time again. Sound View does just that it has a wonderful setting right in Hugh Town with views overlooking the harbour and sound with an outdoor terrace with similar views for relaxing in the sun. The apartment itself is quiet and cosy with all you could need and more with lots of nice touches like the binoculars to scan the views and the photo history with over 300 slides. There are so many superlatives for the Isles of Scilly themselves but I find the most appropriate to be ‘breathtaking’! I could go on but I think you get the gist….. Anita and Denis have wealth of knowledge for you to tap into should you wish and are a warm characterful couple.

Everything you need in such tranquil & peaceful surroundings with beautiful beaches a few minutes walk away. Vic was super helpful, responsive & provided such clear instructions even I didn't get lost! :)

What an immaculate place! It was absolutely spotless and very comfy. Julie and Fraser were great hosts and went the extra mile providing fruit, biscuits, tea, coffees, hot chocolate, milk and wine for us. The local pub was a 2 minute walk and had lots of activities on such as quizzes, comedy, live music (out of the way so no noise disturbances!) and the local cafe and Thai food restaurant were lovely. The beach on our doorstep was beautiful and plenty of lovely walks from the property too. Hugh Town was a 20 minute walk, albeit uphill but it helped us to work off the lovely Cream Teas and pasties! Our family had a lovely stay in the cottage. Our boys actually wanted to know why we couldn’t live there forever! 😂 The cottage has plenty of space and is well located

Zoe was so helpful from the first contact,whuch was months before arrival at her beautiful Barn. It was obvious that both she and Chris, genuinely cared about ensuring that their guest were presented with top quality fittings and decor, in a beautifully converted former farm building. Zoe provided us with all the information we needed and insisted we contacted at anytime, should there be anything we needed. The Welcome pack was amazing and the the extra attention to my wifes birthday was so much appreciated. In short, I would recommend Zoes property to anyone and feel confident, that they would have as pleasurable time as we did. Thank you Zoe and Chris xx

They say it all about 'Location Location Location' and the Crows nest certainly is in a great location for a holiday on the Isles of Scilly. I was a solo traveller and the Crows Nest was perfect for me as a base for my exploration of the island with all the amenities I needed and easy access to the island ferries. Another great benefit was the closeness of shops, pubs/restaurants/information. Stella was a great host and it was easy to communicate with her and always receiving a quick response. I hope to return to the Isles of Scilly and the Crows Nest again one day. Martin L
