Julio is an amazing host! Super responsive and always there to help. Honestly, I debated writing this review because I don’t want it fully booked when we come back lol. The neighborhood is super safe and peaceful, plus dog-friendly with a park right outside. The beach is just a 5-min walk, and the views are insane, especially at sunset. Tbh the pictures don’t do this place justice... it looks way better in person. The WiFi is fast and reliable, the A/C in both rooms is clean and works great, and the shower has HOT water the entire time. There’s a fully equipped kitchen and a closet in the room (not shown in photos). It’s about 10 min to the Walled City ($2-$3 Ubers), and some great food nearby (Pizza Marisol - so good, out favorite). The pool is beautiful and clean, security is 24/7, and Rappi Turbo delivers in 5-8 min if you don't wanna go shopping on your own. And even though it’s by the airport, it’s shockingly quiet. 1000% recommend! Just don’t book it when we’re trying to! 😆

Great experience in a great location

We had an amazing trip! Perfect for my bachelor party. The cooks were amazing! Transportation was so smooth, and just generally everything was super easy and a ton of fun. It’s fun to swim on the water near the house and we also walked to Playa Libre and had a nice afternoon there.

Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at Itaca. It is a one-of-a-kind experience with a true private island feel. Situated on the tip of the island you have beautiful ocean views at all times. The accommodations are simple because of the natural environment. And while “rustic”, everything is clean and comfortable and totally worth sacrificing luxury amenities for the unique outdoor experience. If you are a group that knows how to sit and chill, this spot is perfect. Easy private 2pm arrival by boat from Baru which the host set up for us. Easy to get boat rides to fish or go visit other islands. We had the host do grocery shopping for us and we had most meals at the property so we could relax and this was the best decision ever. They did great job shopping, all fruits and vegetables were very fresh and delicious. We caught fish and lobster and purchased more fish and lobster to be the main course of our meals. Beautiful blue water. Great ocean breeze. Friendly people. Diamond in the rough.
