The description fully matches what we find, the apartment does not lack anything, everything is very clean, the beds are very comfortable. Very good area with restaurants and supermarkets within a five-minute walk. The access to the beach a few minutes walk by pedestrian area in front of the exit of the urbanization. We will definitely be back.

Very clean, comfortable and modern accommodation. Check in process was very easy. Upon our arrival we found coffee pods, tea bags and a bottle of water waiting for us. A nice touch ! Apartment is located in quiet area with walking distance to two supermarkets. There is free parking at the front of the building and surrounding streets. We parked our rental car everyday right in front of the building without any trouble. Check our process was very easy as well. We were offered to check out late if we wanted to. There is a little restaurant called A Barquinha less than two blocks away. We had a few casual meals and a dinner there. We felt like locals right of way. Food was delicious, homemade specials everyday and extremely inexpensive!!! Over all we had a wonderful time at Vila Real and our perfect airbnb stay completed the experience.

It perfectly exceeded expectations. We've been very good. Well-maintained and familiar community. It was curious that when arriving and seeing that much of the buildings in the community are uninhabited, as if unfinished. The footsteps of the neighbors above were very much heard. For everything else, super good, very large and clean.

Finally made it to Richard’s place in beautiful Isla Canela. It had been on my list for quite a long time. Definitely worth it. Large living room with enormous TV screen for Spanish TV and Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Big terrace with very nice view. Richard and Mioara were helpful and pro-active. I was there kinda off-season but mostly the weather was nice. The pool was only open for 1 more day. Richard informed me about this. Went almost every day for a swim and some sunbathing at the nearby beach. Very big and private :) And you can see Portugal from there. It’s a magical place. A bit quiet off-season but nice if you have to recharge, rethink and meditate as I wanted too. And I also worked from there with good wifi. If you like a bit of action I recommend you visit the city of Ayamonte. Took the bike or taxi to there and made some nice local friends :) Be aware that Uber is not (yet) active there. Recommend Taxi Lucia or Taxi Silvia Will definitely return :)
