What an amazing gem! Tucked away, but with plenty of amenities that you would fine at a modern, big-city hotel. Great family space, with privacy, but also big family spaces. A perfect fit for our family team in town for a race. We will be back!

What a beautiful spot to spend a few days in the UP! The home has everything you need for a relaxing stay and Seth and Kerri were super helpful and great communicators. The location was easy to find despite being pretty remote. It's only a few minutes from downtown Marquette and was very comfortable for our group.

We loved our stay! The house was well appointed and comfortable. It was an incredible deal and it was centrally located for our adventures

Denise’s log cabin was the perfect winter weekend getaway. The cabin itself felt like home with the wood burning fireplace, jacuzzi and beautiful decorations. The cabin is situated on Denise’s old farm property where we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset hike through the woods.

I wish I could give this place six stars! the steak I bought to grill went bad so Kathy made me a frozen pizza and I ate dinner with them outside. I've never been somewhere more quiet and peaceful. they were very patient with me and my dog that loves to pace and make himself at home. such a sweet, friendly couple with a beautiful home and a priceless view of the lake.

I was looking for the place that would feel like home away from home where my entire family (fur babies included) and I could unwind, relax, and enjoy time together the weekend of my first marathon. This place was perfect. Kayaking was so much fun, the spacious kitchen made dinner times and breakfasts so special, and my doggo loooooved swimming, running around and going on walks. Even my cat felt right at home! It really felt like home. The amenities were also a great plus. It was my mom’s first time in an Airbnb, and she was so impressed with absolutely everything. Thank you Charlie and Shelly!! Everything was perfect. ☺️❤️

My husband and I took 4 teen boys to Marquette for a week and stayed at Kyra’s place. It was perfect! Everyone had enough personal space and we could comfortably watch tv/eat meals/play games all together. The location is fabulous … easily walked to so many things. Would stay here again in a minute!

I stayed this past weekend for a funeral. And I’d come back! Granted, I’m from Kingsford so I know the area. But this place is a little jewel. They even had a fire pit, with pre cut wood. What a thoughtful amenity! The host was responsive/ property clean. Everything an Airbnb should be. Kudos! 🙌🏻👍🏻 All said, a couple of minor small observations. -Dust the dining room chairs, especially the rails. (I inspected hotel rooms for 20+ yrs.). ☺️🤷‍♂️ -That sliding door didn’t instill confidence. -An electronic lock with a code would be awesome. -T-mobile internet. ($55 per mth). Cozy place with a lot of charm & neat amenities. Close to Marinette/Menominee & easy commute to amazing hiking. Would happily stay here again!

This is a great peaceful and very private place to stay. We feel very welcome and right at home staying here. The owners have been great and the cabin is so very well stocked with everything you could want or need.

As always, we had a very enjoyable time staying at Kyla's place. Once we arrive at Kyla's, we pretty much never use our car until we are leaving. Everything we enjoy (Picnic Island Park, Mtn bike trails, local restaurants and breweries, etc.) are all within walking or riding distance. Her place is always clean and ready to go upon arrival. If we ever have an issue, she is quick to respond. We do have a dog, so the fenced in backyard is wonderful. All-in-all, whenever possible we always try to stay at Kyla's place when we visit Marquette.

Perfect for a winter getaway! Snowy trails on site made for great cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Fireplace perfect for relaxing after long day on the trails.

We loved the location and the ability to walk to nice restaurants, coffee shops, and the library. Many nice walking trails are nearby. We also enjoyed seeing the sunrise over Lake Superior each morning. What a lovely community! Debora was helpful and the apartment was great. Our stay was wonderful.

An absolute must stay. The location is perfect and it was extremely quaint and relaxing. Plus, Julie’s diner downstairs is absolutely amazing. Fantastic food and super friendly team. Highly recommend all around!

This cabin was in the perfect location that we had for a friends wedding. If you are feeling up to it, safely go down the hill by the river, it is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous and so worth it!

I’ve had my eye on this BnB for years and finally had an excuse and big enough group to book it! This space was everything I expected and more! The kitchen was beautiful and spacious! The living room was comfy and the big enough for everyone to unwind at the end of the night. Each room had so much character and charm. I could go on and on! This space did not disappoint!!!! Plus, the location was walking distance to so many wonderful shops and restaurants! I highly recommend!

Mark is always so great! We’ve stayed here multiple times now and won’t be staying anywhere else (if his place is available) when we’re in that area!

We had another great stay at Mike's place. It is always nice and clean and has everything we need for a relaxing stay.

A perfect place to stay for an adventure in Marquette. Close to Washington Ave with lots of great restaurants and shops while being far enough from the traffic to be quiet even during the busiest of events, such as the UP200 Dog Sled Championship that took place three blocks away. Highly recommend for any trip to the UP!
