Vacation rentals with a home theater in Iowa

Rental was exactly as described - plenty of space for an overnight with 8 guests. Getting in was a multi-step process that went smoothly with the instructions provided, and Dan was very responsive when the code didn’t work on one door. Theatre room provided a great space to hang out and watch movies. Space was exactly as described. Would recommend and would stay again.

Excellent location accurately described in the listing. Quiet and peaceful sleeping. Loved the bedroom with window looking towards College Green Park. Comfortable beds, pillows, sheets, and blankets. Kitchen is clean and suitable for making meals. No dishwasher but double sink is set up nicely with drying rack on one side so no problem there. Laundry was easy and free. Location is great, easy walking distance to Film Scene, New Pioneer Coop, and all the downtown restaurants, shops, and venues. Internet was good. TV has basic package with some on demand movies, watching Hoosiers was fun. Option to sign-in to personal Netflix but never got around to it. Table in the kitchen good for meals and as a work space. Comfortable living room furniture. Shower and sink had good water pressure and hot water didn’t take long at all. Great AirBnB and a very nice and accommodating host. Thank you.

Really enjoyed this location. We would definitely come back. Easy to get in, great location, clear instructions, and super responsive host. If you want a recommendation for food, we cannot suggest Fong's Pizza enough. Their Bahn Mi pizza was incredible.

Even better than pictures. Loved all the movie memorabilia and 50's decor. Windows overlooking town were fantastic. Our stay in Osage could not of been better. I would highly recommend.

My friend and I stayed here 1 night for concert and it was the PREFECT place. Super clean, nice apartment and area of town!

We didnt see the tow zone sign (its small and im from a rural area so I am unaccustomed to that sorta thing) near where we parked. Went up to grab the parking pass, used the bathroom and came right back down. My vehicle was gone! Berhane reimbursed me half the tow charge and i am eternally grateful!!!! Definitely would stay here again and recommend. Just be sure you pay attention to the lot and/or have someone stay back in the vehicle if possible when you go up to grab the pass. Crow tow is watching and waiting to snatch your vehicle the minute you get inside. 🤪

Second time renting this house. Great location, host and house for a country getaway. The house accommodates everyone, and has many activities onsite - game room, theater room, fishing, pontoon, fire pit, and a great pond if you have kayaks or able boards.

Jana was a great host - very responsive and helpful. The house felt very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The beach is not really walkable from the house (at least not with all the lake gear), but Jana generously allowed us to use her golf cart - which was so great! We would definitely stay here again with our family.

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway with our teenage boys. On the edge of Pine Lake State Park, we enjoyed beautiful lake views, could get on the hiking trail from the back yard, and had easy access to fishing. The house was spotless and lovely, and most importantly, comfortable and relaxed. We followed our day of outdoor activities with a movie night in the projector room on a huge sofa that could fit the whole family. The hosts added many little details that made us feel welcome and right at home.

Barbara was a delightful and attentive host. She was very friendly and responsive to questions. I especially appreciated the flexibility she was able to give us with check-in and check-out times. We stayed in three of her rooms (Madrid, Venice, and Vienna), and the were all stunning. The continental breakfast was as delicious as it was beautiful. I recommend this wonderful B&B without reservation, and look forward to future stays!

This was a girls weekend, so the location was close to shopping, food and drink and not far from the outlet mall. Nice neighborhood area. The movie theater was a big bonus. Extra big, thick towels. Elisabeth responded quickly when we had questions and resolved issues for us. I would stay again if in the area.

Truly, Jeffery is one of the best hosts I’ve ever worked with. He helped me book his home after our original booking cancelled on us three days before we were set to leave. He bent over backwards to accommodate our stay and was flexible with letting my toddler come after my babysitter backed out. He had clear communication and was always available for questions. He even left us a little treat upon our arrival! Besides his amazing hosting, Jeffery’s home is GORGEOUS! The view of the lake from his dining room is peaceful and stunning. His modern design is accented with lots of comforts and there’s plenty of room for everyone. His home is right down the way from beach access and is not too far from downtown Clear Lake. 100% would recommend!!!
