Nestled at the foot of the Loess Hills, this repurposed grain bin is a sight to see. Every inch of the inside has been customized for a relaxing and luxurious experience. Conveniently located just 30 minutes from downtown Omaha, as well as within a quick drive to numerous state parks. There is even an external electrical hook up for campers. Finally, our grain bin includes 20 acres of the Loess Hills to explore. We recommend hiking to the top of the ridge for sunset. It's breath taking.

We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

Words can’t explain the fun and unique experience. Our group had two families consisting of 4 adults and 5 littles: aged 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5. This trip was thoroughly enjoyed by all 9 of us! The kids enjoyed the games, toys, outdoors & cows while the parents enjoyed learning about the day-to-day operations of a dairy farm. We enjoyed the tours, meeting the cows and watching the various personalities among the cow barn. The adults had a great time playing games and watching the cows from the loft once the littles went to bed. Location was 10 min from an amazing playground/splashpad in Clarksville and we made day trips into Waverly & cedar falls to enjoy a pumpkin patch, John Deere museum and a couple of lunch spots. We will definitely be back in the future so we can check on our favorite cows and enjoy the hospitality of Lynn and her family!

One of the coolest spaces we’ve seen—gorgeous on the inside yet simple, never felt cramped at all. Bright, airy, quiet, we loved it. We were there in below-zero February but the silo stayed perfectly warm. Hosts super-responsive & friendly. A perfect weekend getaway.

The Iowa Farmhouse was beautiful, secluded and still a very easy 15 minute drive to all the bustle of Iowa City. The bedrooms were spacious, the living space was perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space and antique store. Finding the location was a breeze, coming and going was easy. We enjoyed games inside, drinks on the patio, and felt comfy and cozy when it was time to go to bed. Hosts were responsive, respectful, more than accommodating, and overall super friendly. We would love to stay again for our next Iowa Football trip!
