We enjoyed our short stay. Nice private and secluded space but still close enough to great bakery, good coffee shops. Had no idea the theater and Ingram Dam were just minutes away. Nice place with all the amenities we needed.

Overall great stay. Check in was seamless, the location was peaceful and scenic. I’d stay here again and would recommend to anyone else!

I had a wonderful girl's weekend trip at Tom's place. He has put in A LOT of effort and love into this home. It's exactly what we were looking for. Everyone had a comfy bed and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. The property is so special and beautiful. The screened in porch was fantastic and we ate every meal outside. The river is a short 3-5 minute walk down a path. We brought a cooler, sat by the water, and used the rope swing. The location feels remote and private but then there's an HEB 15 minutes away. It was just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy each other's company. Tom is probably the nicest and most responsive host I've ever encountered. You can tell he truly loves this home and wants his guests to feel comfortable and taken care of. 10/10 would recommend and already planning my return.

We’re back home today and woke up missing that beautiful lake view and all the wildlife. This is the one place we come to be intentionally lazy while on vacation. We live on the porch while we’re there. We don’t even cook! We run to the Hunt general store for BBQ or into nearby Kerrville. (It is nicely set up for cooking if you’re of a mind to, tho). The property is teeming with ducks, geese, wild turkeys, bats over the water at dusk, deer, birds, and hummingbirds, and we could hear coyotes in the distance at night. We highly recommend this hidden gem as an essential place to totally immerse in nature and peace. 🩷
