Monthly Rentals in Ingapirca

Wonderful apartment, I absolutely loved it. Beautiful, comfortable, clean, and in a great location downtown- walkable to everything. There is a corner store right next door, a great cafe downstairs, and a major market a few blocks away. Also 2 minutes to get to the walking path along the river and several parks nearby. The hosts were responsive and helpful when I needed things. Downsides: It was difficult to maintain a consistent temperature in the shower even with the host's tips and if there were guests in the apartment next door you could hear everything. Overall, excellent stay. I will definitely return if I go back to Cuenca.

The Airbnb is THE BEST we have ever had throughout our journey in South America. Before arrival, Guido and Bane had communicated with us regarding the place and expressed warm welcome. They were kind, responsive, and very accommodating to our needs. The apartment was shining with beautiful decor and clean amenities. What’s more, Guido and Bane were so considerate that they had prepared snacks for us. It was a lifesaver after our looong flight to Cuenca. The apartment has EVERYTHING that you need for cooking. The electric induction stove is the best, and it makes cooking much easier at the high altitude that Cuenca is. It is so relaxing, either working at the table in the living room, watching tv at the couch, or simply sitting at the balcony and listening to the river. There are various restaurants, bakery, grocery stores (supermaxi and la feria) within walking distance. The Tranvía station is 3 min away, which makes visiting the centro super convenient. Highly recommend this Airbnb!

Lovely break in pretty location. Chilly & wet, be prepared. I arranged a (paid) pick up from Cuenca via the Hacienda contact (Chris). At Hacienda, into 4x4 (horse is other option provided), short but bumpy drive, then easy short walk downhill to treehouse. If you decide to use public transport (easy, #26 bus, google the route map to show bus stops), note cash is not accepted by driver. You buy a card in Cuenca & load cash into it, and touch it on machine when you board. Each journey is just 30 cents, plus the initial card cost is a couple of dollars. Plenty of firewood available but I failed to get a fire going. Lack of dry kindling. I recommend bringing your own lighter/matches. Very good hot water in kitchen & bathroom. As emphasised in more recent reviews: host does not provide food, but there were a few kitchen basics like oil.

This place is a beautiful oasis in the central part of Cuenca. It is surprisingly quiet and thoughtfully appointed. Customer service/response was very attentive.
