Farmstay vacation rentals in Illinois

I always love staying there because as the title states it is a place of peace which is big for me cause I have a little boy who doesn't sleep well in hotels due to noise. Plus not worrying about bringing my pets is a great thing.

Nice place just off the highway. Only stayed 1 night, but it looks like it would be very fun for an extended stay in the summer. Easy check in with the code. Secluded with awesome views of deer and elk.

This place serves very well as a home base for hikers visiting the Shawnee National Forest

Hosts were fantastic. Met us at check in, talked about the history and some of the decor in the space. My son and I really enjoyed hiking through the woods, and even though it was subzero outside, we were quite warm and cozy! We can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay, it was very cozy on a chilly night. I loved the high ceilings in here, it felt very open and spacious. I’d love to do another’s girls trip here! We especially loved the fireplace and watching old movies on the dvd player.

This house was very cute! Our 10 month old loved seeing the cows across the street each morning. Loved the A-frame, eclectic in decor, and very clean.

The place was exactly as described. The home was warm and lit for us when we got there, it was pretty cold so I appreciated the heat being turned up for us prior. the surrounding town was lively and the establishments were better than I expected. I would definitely spend another stay there.

Overall, our stay here was very nice. The cabin was very cozy and cute and had all the amenities suggested on the page. My friends and I all agree that we would stay here again!

Great place to stay, nice and quiet, would recommend to anyone

We are from central Illinois but were just looking for a little getaway close to home. We stayed one night and are already talking about going back! It felt like a home away from home with the added benefit of a hot tub 😊 The host, location & experience was great!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was adorable and very clean. And we really enjoyed the hot tub. The location is private and surrounded by trees, but just 10 minutes to the restaurants in Grafton.

We had a fantastic time! Host was communicative, attentive, and generously allowed us to host our vow renewal ceremony on the premises. Everything was beautiful and well maintained!

I went with my college group to an event nearby, and this stay was an excellent choice. The kitchen was fully stocked with any items we may have needed, and some surprises we weren’t expecting to use but got great use out of. The host was super kind and always responsive and proactive. The place was clean, had plenty of available beds, and was on some beautiful land. Genuinely, it might have been one of the best AirBnB’s I’ve stayed in. My whole group seemed to like it too, and there were a bunch of us. If you’re lucky, you might get a friendly morning visit from an adorable dog, who is very friendly. I never caught its name, but it was a fun little treat to be greeted by that dog each morning.

What a wonderful, relaxing place to stay! Jennifer’s cabin is a wonderful respite from the chaotic world, on a beautiful knoll overlooking a river valley. The cabin is perfectly appointed, and given that we were here in winter, the gas fireplace was a welcome adornment. She was a great communicator, getting with us before we left to provide all the info we needed in a clear and helpful narrative, and had everything perfectly arranged for our arrival. All in all, nothing but good things to say about the cabin, the location, the environment, and the value for the price. I highly recommend it for anyone who’s looking to get away from the hustle and bustle for a long weekend.

This was our 2nd yr staying at Julie's place for a Christmas family gathering. We loved it. All guests loved it... It's warm, cozy & inviting. Feels like home. We had everything we needed plus some. The resident animals are a bonus. If you need anything Julie is quick to respond. It's quickly becoming a fav for our family. Absolutely gorgeous Victorian home in an amazing spot. Wow, it snowed while we were there so we took advantage and made some snow angels! The only thing we found as a surprise was the listing as 4 bedrooms, but one was more of an open area to go through to get to another bedroom. It was not an issue for us, I would love to stay again and highly recommend!

We had the best time at Aron's place! The location was perfect for walking to the quaint and historic town of Utica and it was so close to the state parks. We appreciated the excellent communication, ease of check in, clean and beautiful space and access to nature (we also got to pet their sweet goats!). The size was perfect, cozy and offered everything we were looking for and more! Can't wait to come back again!
