Loft vacation rentals in IJsselmeer

A charming AirBnB away from the crowds, with friendly and helpful hosts, lots of space, good equipment and a lovely patio with sheep and everything. Quaint Culemborg is just a short ferry-ride away, Utrecht and Amsterdam both eminently reachable by P+R and train. We (a family of four) enjoyed our stay and will come again.

This was our second time at Linda’s place and we’re looking forward to a third visit! 10/10 would recommend.

Frederike was great! As we traveled by car and had a lot more traffic than accounted for, we had to delay our arrival several times. Frederike was very patient and helpful. She also gave us a lift after we parked our car (at a spot that you can park for free on the weekends) a bit further away. The apartment is very central and parking is a problem here. but with Frederikes help you will always find a solution. The apartment it self was clean and cosy. I reallyiked the interior design on the pictures and even more so in person. The bed is super comfy, but if you are tall you need to watch out for the beams. The apartment has a kitchen niche. Enough for breakfast with tasty Coffee and Tea, which was provided, and a cooked egg as there is a egg cooker. A small cosy apartment 1 min. away from the beach!

We stayed here for two nights. The place is very comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean. The bed is fine. Sacha had a delicious breakfast for us; we could prepare that ourselves in our own kitchen. The area is beautiful. Museum More is recommended if you like modern art. We (two adults and two children 2 and 7) enjoyed it very much. The place is very spacious, has a super nice bathroom and the shared kitchen is well equipped. For the kids, especially the horses and the pony were an experience. We were also allowed to take a horseback ride with the pony. In the area we can recommend a trip to the seal center in Pieterburen or the island of Schiermonnikoog. Supermarkets are in the area in Dokkum just 8 minutes by car. A small suggestion for improvement: a few cabinets or shelves would be nice so you do not have to live out of a suitcase. With the many clothes with children, there is chaos in the entire place quickly.

We had a great time at Catharina's place. Thanks to its bike loan, we were able to experience the Dutch experience by bike to the fullest. Accommodation 10 minutes by bike from the center, with all the amenities needed. Catharina is very nice

Everything was great! The place was comfortable, and Karin provided us with all the support, including information about the city. I definitely recommend it!

Christine’s place was everything we expected and more. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and all amenities taken care of. Lovely fresh croissants on arrival and all basis provisions for our stay were on hand - coffee, tea, soap, shampoo and more. Christine is a very responsive host and offered us incredible flexibility for our check in and met us personally, ensuring a smooth process. Would absolutely recommend Christine’s place to anyone looking for a great place to stay that’s only a walk and short train ride to Amsterdam Centraal or Haarlem.

Everything was exceptional! This accommodation has all the comforts of your own home. It is clean, cozy and comfortable. We stayed for three days and would’ve loved to stay longer. The kitchen is well equipped and the mattress and linens make you want to stay in bed all day. Saskia is quick with communication and goes above and beyond of making you feel at home. Would 100% recommend staying here!

Very happy to have stayed at Jan's apartment, a real inhabited house with a soul unlike many rentals that are often completely impersonal. Hoorn is a charming and pleasant town, the apartment is right in the center with very cheap parking close to and very close to the train station for easy access to Amsterdam and the surrounding villages. A very nice loft in a top location. You are really in the center so everything is at walking distance. Yet it is quiet and you will not be bothered by the possible crowds on the terraces or on the street. There was also definitely a nice and smooth communication with Theo. Bright and clear and we could always ask questions if needed. We were already in love with Zwolle, but after this experience we are going to make it an annual getaway.

We enjoyed our stay a lot ! It really felt like living in the area , because of the cozy apartment , with fully equipped kitchen and in a really nice are. The bed was super comfy , everything was super warm & welcoming . The communication was super quick and everything we need to know was given . Thanks for having us ☺️

The House with the Curl was easy to find. It’s a peaceful and safe neighborhood to walk in especially since we did a lot of walking to and from the tram. It matched the pictures and description. It was a great place for us and allowed us to cook our breakfast. (A couple of markets in the neighborhood) as well as some great little places to pick up doners!! Tram 26 made the area assessable as well as provided a neat experience. Would stay again if ever in Amsterdam.
