Chalet vacation rentals in IJsselmeer

A comfortable chalet in a magical beautiful place with unobstructed views. We were very kindly received. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a very nice stay at Henk & Trea's. The place had everything we needed for a few relaxing days and was just right for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The surroundings are very nice and thanks to the private terrace overlooking the nature all around, it was possible to start the day relaxed in the morning and, with luck, watch deer. The chalet is really very lovingly decorated and cozy. That's why it wasn't bad that we had no luck with the weather. Henk was very accommodating, helpful and always available. All in all, we had a very nice holiday and definitely recommend the place! Thank you for everything :)

Accurate listing photos and description! The welcome was very warm and above all flexible, just call Gerrit 10 min before you arrive! We were 6 friends and had a nice stay, very short, but enough to enjoy it! The beach is about a 15-minute walk away and the campsite was very very quiet, we didn't hear a sound during the stay. The cabin is one of the most remote without a close neighbor! Amsterdam is just a 30-minute drive away The only downside I can criticize is that it was indicated that there was everything available in the bathroom, unfortunately there was no shower gel, fortunately we had some and there is a supermarket at the entrance of the campsite! We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Thanks for having us 😊

What a nice place to stay during this period. Everything is available, quiet and in the morning with your coffee in the sun. You can tell by the layout and design: what guests need has been thought about. Located between two natural parks and the Fochteloerveen, a 20-minute drive away, Diever is an ideal base for hiking. And also plenty of restaurants open now. Drenthe is on our list for repetition. Thanks Niek and Joke

We had a great time in this new, clean and very well maintained home. The campsite is quiet, secure, ideal for relaxing. Peter and his wife are very friendly, available and always ready to help. I would definitely recommend this place, we'll be happy to come back!

Had a nice stay with my two children. The chalet is well laid out, making it surprisingly spacious. Everything was neatly clean and tidy. The children had a good time in the chalet, but also in the small playground and on the football field. Franc and Marjolein provide a nice welcome and are there for you if needed! Recommended!

Franc and his families were very friendly, a great apartment and clean , we enjoyed the time and the lake was only 8 min drive away, lots of shopping opportunity , great playground for the kids and great area. Great area We say thank you, always happy to come back.

We enjoyed Diana's chalet very much. It looks exactly like the photos and is nicely decorated. It is close to the Veluwemeer and you can walk from there to downtown Elburg. It was also very clean. We had a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful time at the place! Everything was exactly as described – clean, cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The location is ideal for anyone looking for peace and quiet, and we felt comfortable from the first moment. We would particularly like to highlight the friendly and uncomplicated communication with the hostess – always available and very helpful. My husband and I traveled with our four children, ages 8, 5, 3, and 11 months. This home was a paradise for them. The older kids loved the bunk beds and never had a shortage of toys and games to occupy their time. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the ducks and boats go by, and the cargo bike was so useful. The directions for check in were very clear, but I still don’t recommend doing it after dark. We had a little difficulty finding everything when we arrived. After that it was no problem. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Overall, we had a very nice getaway. The place is super nice. We and our daughter especially enjoyed the beach with playground and large bounce pillow.

Our holiday at Peter’s place was one of the best we’ve lived. The location is a perfect spot for 2 people who desire a peaceful and quiet holiday. Imagine waking up to see a beautiful lake view with pretty boats and boathouses around. The real owners of the lake are very friendly fellows; ducks, swans and seagulls. We already missed feeding them from the little piar of the house. The porch is very comfortable and its top is closed. You may have a good time there although it rains without getting wet. The house is same as in the photos:Tastefully and practically decorated, comfortable, clean and cute. We loved inner and outer lighting options of the house which makes the place very warm and romantic. The heater works very well, never felt cold despite cold weather outside. Lastly, Peter is a very kind, helpful and hospitable guest. We felt like we’re home. We really wish to come back and stay in the future also to step into Peter’s boat and sail around Vinkeveen waterways with him.

We truly enjoyed having a lovely appartment along the canal and a terrace to enjoy it. Ton is a very friendly and rapidly responding person, who showed us the appartment upon arrival. The appartment is just a few minutes walk from the city centre, lovely restaurants and shops are nearby. Parking in Utrecht is expensive, but Ton showed us the nearest and cheapest at just a 10 minute walk (Vaartse Rijn). We hope to be back!
