Lavender Place - Broadstairs

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is the second, and certainly not the last, time I have stayed at this beautiful, quiet, tucked away cottage in Broadstairs. Apart from the charm, peace and convenience, what makes a stay even better is the extra special feeling of being welcome. Sue goes out of her way to make you feel immediately at home. Our Christmas ‘welcome basket’ included a dozen Christmas crackers, chocolate lollipops, oyster crisps, a tin of shortbread…just to mention a few items! All three bedrooms are cosy and thoughtfully furnished. The bathroom is also spacious and squeaky clean, the kitchen well-equipped (we love cooking). This place promises a lot and does not disappoint. It is worth every penny!

We had a wonderful stay at The Lodge! We all enjoyed a walk in the beautiful woodland on our doorstep and the games room and hot tub were a big hit with the kids and adults! Clean and tidy with everything we needed! Thank you.

Beautiful 2 bedroom seaside retreat great location

IrynaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We've had a nice August Bank Holiday weekend at Lee's place. The caravan was clean, tidy and well looked after. A travel cot and a high chair were both available, which really helped us. There was a chilled bottle in the fridge (for adults) and games and books available (for kids). It was very thoughtful of Lee. It was a shame that the Saturday was an absolute washout and we couldn't explore the area. But this is the British summer for you! You would need to buy a day pass for any entertainment (5min walk from the caravan). However, only the swimming and the entrance to the pub and the arcade is included in the day pass. Any other activities you wish to try need to be paid for separately. Also it's worth checking swimming availability first, before purchasing the day pass, as swim times are limited. The bakery just round the corner on the main street was a great discovery. Nice walks with the kids by the sea were good too. Lee's place was great and he is a very good host.

Relaxing coastal escape for 2!

Nicole Rating, 5 stars4 months ago
Natalie’s home is just that, a home. Everything you need and a bit more (*bonus points for warm fuzzy blanket!) it is close to everything, restaurants, grocery and although there is no parking at the location, parking at the train station is so close and very affordable. I would highly recommend!

The Nook at the Beach, Broadstairs - sleeps 8

SharonRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We stayed at The Nook and had a great time. It’s a beautiful home, very well equipped and Catherine was a really helpful host. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. We were lucky with the weather and had a lovely walk to the two beaches. Would recommend. Many thanks Catherine.

Red Gables Cottage

Lovely cottage on the grounds of another home. Close to both Tankerton and Whitstable. Home was snug and warm and a great alternative to a hotel. Sally left us a welcome pack that was a gift arriving late evening.

Coastal Caravan Getaway

Very nice caravan, really tidy, great value. Harts is a decent holiday park but gets crazy busy! The town is pretty scruffy but everyone is really friendly and my kids had a super time.
