The Blankenship Farmhouse is a cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer & gas BBQ. The home sits at the end of the road with views of lush green pastures that are often filled with horses, cows, elk or hay bales. Maximum occupancy 6 persons. No animals, of any kind, allowed in the house. Hand, dish & laundry soap provided. No shampoo. Here in the heart of Redwood National park we can loose electricity in the winter. We have a generator for all power except water heater

Human guests and non reactive dogs are welcome in the common grounds. There are friendly pets:2 cats,3 dogs living onsite within the common grounds. Tracy’s place was absolutely stunning. It was neat and cozy as well as close to nearby destinations. Tracy was easy to communicate with and a pleasure to meet once we got there. Their property is beautiful and truly a slice of heaven in Northern California. We couldn’t recommend their stay more !! (And their pets were such an additional plus - so adorable!)

This place was magical. An absolute gem if you’re looking to escape and unwind. It’s close to all of the hiking trails and avenue of the giants. One of the best parts of our stay were the two sweet dogs who kept us company on the porch. We loved seeing them trot down the hill to say hello every day when we came back from hiking.

We had booked a campsite, but our equipment was soaked from rain the night before at a campground further down the coast. I called to tell John and Wendy that we were going to get a hotel due to soggy sleeping bags. They offered an indoor suite at same price. We were greeted by Louis, the friendly dog, and by John, at the door. The shower water was hot, the bed comfy, and the hosts friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

We had the best stay at The Front Porch Inn! The listing was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The outdoor baths were such a unique and relaxing touch, making our stay even more special. Everything was clean, cozy, and well thought out.
