Cabin vacation rentals in Humboldt County

Beautiful location, very private. Liked that it was central to all of the local attractions, were able to hike around the Tinidad trail caught the lite house open first Saturday viewing. Enjoyed the point lookout and beaches across the street from house. Enjoyed the Moonstone Beach. Hiked fern Canyon. Views and peaceful sounds from the deck at all times of the day and night. They same thing from the hot tub. We will keep it on our list of return spots. I personally believe was the best location on the Ocen front in this location!

This was everything I was hoping it to be! I was so excited when I stumbled upon this listing, and my expectations were absolutely exceeded. The grounds are beautiful and there are so many thoughtful touches all around. I can't recommend this experience enough! What a special place. Huge thank you to Mallory and Jeff, they're lovely :)

absolutely amazing place to stay. I have so much to say. the decor is cozy and welcoming. they put so much thought into all the details. the whole place smelled and felt like a spa while I was there! Laura is just one of those people that is meant to host. she is so friendly, so responsive and her food is good too! the whole place is beautiful inside and out. I had a great trip and would love to come back in the future. I have already shared the place to a few of my friends and clients and they look forward to booking.

For anyone looking for a truly beautiful, unique environment away from the maddening crowd this place is a must. There are no words - the craftsmanship, the views - it is absolutely one of a kind. We found it so relaxing we stayed an extra night. The drive to the Lost Coast and Petrolia is stunning and best of all Daisy just might be the perfect host. It's a steep climb to the top of the ridge where the "tower" is located but it's well worth the hike. We intend to make this a yearly pilgrimage. It's by far the nicest place we have ever stayed.

Our brief one night stay at Taylor’s was just what we needed. Clean, comfortable, and all the amenities necessary to relax before continuing on our road trip. The guidebook with recommendations, coffee, and tea were thoughtful touches.

Devon was an amazing and responsive host! They were very flexible with our last minute changes and made us feel at home. I came with friends to get away for a weekend over spring break and it was a perfect stay after hiking the redwoods all day!

What an amazing getaway spot among the redwoods! All of the amenities (beautiful shower, beautiful space, hot tub, etc) made it well worth it. I would definitely love to come back! Not to mention, my sweet senior pup was able to enjoy the luxury with me.

What a beautiful, peaceful, restful place. The cabin is simple and comfortable, and the clawfoot tub in the lush green garden is magical.

This place was so special and exceeded my expectations! The host was very nice and provided a contact person, Monica, who made sure we had everything we needed. The locals are friendly and were happy to provide additional suggestions on where to chill along the river and places to eat/drink. The Bigfoot Steakhouse and Pizza Factory had great food and the bartender at the Forks Lounge was super cool. We loved that the home feels secluded, yet close to all we needed. A very special place. The Best sleep I've had in years. The creek is amazing. The horses are beautiful. The cabin is cozy. The shower was hot and felt good. She even put out fresh flowers. I can't wait to go back.

this spot was so perfect in so many ways. this was my girlfriend and my first trip together and it was our 5 year anniversary. she loves the ocean, and I love the redwoods. we have talked about doing something like this since we very first started talking. this was the perfect spot for us and we will most definitely be back. We will be making this our spot every anniversary. We both miss being there so much already. Thank you for giving us a peaceful and memorable time.

Simply yet cozy cabin in the remote otherworldly Petrolia. Bob was super responsive. No reflection on the cabin, remember this setting is very remote and be prepared with groceries and basic amenities.

My dog and I only stayed overnight but the cabin was a perfect stop off when traveling up 101! It’s right off the highway but feels very secluded. Amazing amenities with the washer/dryer and exercise room, though we didn’t need them this time; we did enjoy eating outside in the central picnic area. Charles was super responsive and flexible and I always appreciate a place that welcomes dogs without tons of restrictions. I’d definitely stay again and encourage anyone to book :)

Perfect spot for our quick family getaway to see the redwoods. Loved being able to walk over to the beach to watch the sunsets! There’s not many outlets in the house as it is older, so I would bring a power strip if you need multiple devices plugged in. Other than that, the place fit our needs!

This place is remote, clean and quiet. It’s down a windy road, instructions to get there and in were clear and easy. 10ish minute drive to Avenue of the Giants and market, coffee, restaurants. There were brochures left out for things to do and places to eat. Place was spotless except for some cobwebs in the corners and behind the door- but it’s a cabin, so no marks down. Brian set the instructions ahead of time like to remove shoes before entering, a policy I like to practice in every house, so I appreciate it. Decor is eclectic. Cabin was sufficient for two for a lovely weekend exploring the nature around.

We were three adults and two six year olds and felt comfortable and cozy. Bathroom is spacious and the incredible forest out back is perfect for kids to run around in. It’s a three mile run to the top of Trinidad head and back from the house. Great spot for accessing the Redwoods and checking out other towns in Humboldt.

If you are looking for a romantic Redwood get away trip in Trinidad then this is your place! The cabin is literally surrounded by Redwood trees in a quiet area and the outdoor shower is a very unique addition! Great town to stay in to visit the Redwood National Parks and the beach town with restaurants is a very short drive. Robby and Jennie were very friendly and nice hosts!

beautiful property that you could easily spend a weekend and still feel like you didn't see it all. make sure to read the instructions they will get you there! the GPS really is unreliable they are correct about that.

Truly a special location! Tucked away in its own little corner of the forest but close enough to everything to still be able to access local conveniences. Our whole family agrees that this is our favorite place we’ve ever stayed through Airbnb! The house was so clean, cozy, and inviting. We were immediately comfortable and looked forward to getting back to it each evening after long road trips up the coast to see the seaside and the redwoods.

This was the perfect stay for our adventures in the redwoods. The barn dogs and ducks were so sweet. Mandy's instructions to get to the property were very clear. I would definitely stay again!

Quaint, relaxing, with green and luscious surroundings as soon as you step out of the door. The host has done a wonderful job making sure that this little cabin in the woods is private, quiet, clean and comfortable with all of the amenities of home. Absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back!!!
