we really enjoyed the house as a base, to go our exploring, as a place to sleep easily and quiet. We would recommend it .

I had an amazing stay here. Diets, the host, was incredibly welcoming, and the apartment was spotless and larger than expected. The space is beautifully decorated and perfectly situated, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Although we had a couple of issues at the start of my stay (a huge storm hit on the day I arrived, and unfortunately the large gate out the front didn’t have a strong enough latch to prevent it from banging all through the first night of my stay) Ed had a wonderful neighbour on hand to help, and at 5.30am she came round with chicken wire to help me secure the gate in place! They went above and beyond to help me, and this was a situation that is incredibly rare! The second night of my stay was a much more peaceful nights sleep, and as a single female there in my own I felt so looked after and safe. I’m sure going forward the lock on the front gate will be changed to prevent this happening again. The host provided breakfast, a coffee machine and the attention to detail within the property was right up my street! Especially being someone who uses social media to build my business. I got a ton of content, and as a mum of 2 who needed a break, I got the rest and head space I needed xx TY

This is a lovely spacious house in a great location for the coast. 2 living rooms make it good for groups or extended family gatherings. Kitchen is well equipped and the garden is a lovely extra space in good weather. Jill and Ben are friendly responsive hosts and gave helpful advice on the locality. We loved swimming and meal at Saltdean Lido and coastal walks from South Hill Barn.

Lovely welcoming hosts and very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Would definitely return. Bus into Brighton and Hove is super convenient, basically on the doorstep.

Fantastic home from home feel. I loved it so much i stayed an extra night because i didn't want my trip to end and i booked to come back for another stay as soon as i got home. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at Jennifer's place. Lovely flat in a busy area with Hove with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Flat was newly refurbished and clean. Jennifer was great at commuting and responsive to requests - we enquired if the parking space was available early and she organised an early check in for us. Lots of lovely touches like prosecco in the fridge and breakfast cereals for use. Thanks for a lovely stay!

A lovely little flat right in the middle of the laines. We had a great stay. The flat is gorgeous and the hosts were very accommodating with some really nice treats left for us. The ladies at the Flower Pot were also super friendly and helpful: thank you so much!

This is a lovely spot for a few days in Brighton. It's close to the sea, and also to the centre of Brighton, as well as well placed for Kemptown. St James Street at the top end has all the amenities you could need and some excellent places to eat and drink as well. The flat itself is spacious, characterful and well-maintained, and has everything you need. Peter gave clear communication at all times and was quick to respond to messages. Highly recommended.

Jason's place was very welcoming with all the comforts of home. Really well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and comfortable beds. Lovely welcome pack of oat milk,fruit bread,vegan spread and a bottle of white wine. We paid for parking permits and found parking in the road outside easy during our stay. On a steep hill so decided to get taxis on the way back from town.Would book again and would highly recommend.

Lovely accomodation in a great location. Hosts were very responsive and instructions clear, and good local recommendations 😃 No parking but we were advised of reasonable priced parking about 5 mins walk away (£9.60 for 24 hours). Would stay again

Wow! Annabelle’s home is beautiful. Large apartment but felt cosy with antiques & curated spaces in all directions. Big comfy beds & well equipped kitchen. This is Airbnb at its best. 2 great bakeries, pubs & restaurants a few minutes walk & far less hectic than the sea front, although you can walk this in about 20 mins. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home ( I will have house envy for a while yet!)

Will is a very friendly host who went above and beyond to make our stay feel bespoke, providing recommendations on things to do and leaving food and milk for us. Highly recommend Will as a host and his lovely Airbnb!

Jane is a great host and her cat Esme steals the show! I felt very comfortable in that little roses room. And her attic room?! Incredible! What a place to be! I highly recommend booking that for yourself when in doubt :) Very quiet but central location. Loved it!

Lovely friendly comfortable setting and would stay again

Perfect location for a short break in Brighton. Clean, quiet and away from the busy areas. 10 minutes in an Uber to the town centre and bus stop nearby if you prefer. Comfortable and everything we needed - we spent most of our time in town and/or with friends locally. Paula was a great host, nothing was too much trouble. Poppy is lovely too!

The house is incredible! It's unique and beautiful, it has stories upon stories to tell and it feels like a fairytale at times, something straight out of a movie. The location is great, close to everything in the city centre, quiet at night and a safe neighbourhood! But the main reason this place was so good is, for sure, Andrew - the host - and his shadow angel, little Tilly! Andrew is friendly, helpful and very proactive. He made me feel at home the moment I stepped into his house and I've never felt so welcomed in a place. I usually have a hard time falling asleep while travelling, but my bedroom was so clean, warm, comfortable and soft that, as soon as my head hit the pillow at night, I would rest immediately. It was my first time in the UK, and it was such an incredible experience that I am planning on going back asap! A million times worth the stay. It's beautiful and comforting, like a nice cup of tea in winter, or a refreshing drink during summer. Thank you, Andrew and Tilly!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed with Mark. lovely place, Mark is very welcoming. The room we had was large, comfy bed and lovely shower. Toiletries provided with nice big towels. Breakfast is cereal and toast which is included in the price. The room is up several flights of stairs, and you have a dedicated bathroom for your sole use. Would recommend Mark's place as he is a lovely host, very friendly. The place is up a bit of a slope if travelling by bus, so if you have mobility issues, maybe not for you, but we always use Mark's place when visiting Brighton as he is a lovely person and will make you feel welcome.

Jill was lovely and made us feel right at home. It was a great stop-over while walking the south downs way . Thanks for going out of your way to do sandwiches for lunch

My friend and I stayed with Rachel and Morgan for a night as we were coming down for a work do, and I'm so so pleased that we booked with them! Not only was their communication fantastic but we wanted for anything in our room. from towels to spare blankets to coffee and shampoo, I found I actually didn't need half the things I'd packed! the room was cosy and peaceful and the beds were so comfy. the spacious shower had the option of a rain shower which was very cool, and the bathroom was clean and homely. Rachel left our breakfast trays (fruit, coffee, warm croissants and jam) outside of our room at the requested time of 7:30am and we had a choice of time slots about when we could get breakfast, again adding to just how easy it was to stay there. My only regret is that we didn't get to speak to Morgan enough as we were on our way to get a cab when we saw him, but he was extremely pleasant, easy to talk to and I'm sorry we didn't have more time to learn about him. Thank you!

Perfect from start to finish. Incredibly responsive messaging and helpful prior to booking. Flexible check in, nice touch having water left for us after a night out! Lovely breakfast and great hosts. I’m feeling proud to be the first guest in ten years airbnb to reverse up their long driveway haha first place has been taken now! Thanks Lynn :)
