Family-friendly vacation rentals in Houston

The rental has everything you need for a short or long stay. Thoughtfully appointed with a comfortable bed and fun artwork. As a bonus it was a nice surprise to find goodies waiting for us in fridge plus a good selection of coffee for the Keurig. We would be happy to return!

We were in Houston for the weekend trip, and the stay at Desiree's place was fantastic. She was always responsive to our questions and provided clear instructions. We had two kids (toddler and baby) and amenities provided (travel crib, high chair, plastic plates, etc) we're also super helpful. The place was spacious and overall quiet, yet it was conveniently located to the area we were visiting. Great place for the family with kids.

Enjoyed a great stay at Phi's AirBb. Clean, peaceful and in a great location. The place had all the amenities I look for ....had to extend my booking a day and Phi made it easy. 5 Star host, 5 Star place...definitely recommend!!

Had a wonderful stay at the Phoenician. Alan was so helpful and accommodating. He responded immediately to any requests or questions I had and could not have been kinder. The apartment is in a very busy area called the Galleria-around the corner from all the best shops and restaurant with easy access to major thoroughfares. The apartment is small, clean and quiet. Great stay! If you’re used to apartment living you’ll be comfortable here. The gym and the pool are nice. There are restaurants and bars just downstairs. Apartment comes with everything you need if you cook. There was even a hair straightener which I really appreciated. Read the instructions for check in! There were a lot of lost Lodgeur guests that I helped find the keybox. But it’s very clear in the instructions!

Great place to stay. I had booked a hotel for my weekend trip to Houston but when I got to it, it was in an area that didn’t feel safe. I was so stressed out about the situation because it was just me and my daughter traveling. Luckily we were able to book this place. I was looking for something safe. This place felt extremely safe and the check in process was easy. I also liked the location. Overall great stay, would stay here again.

Evan is one of Best Air b&b host. Home was great as like photo and description. Quiet lovely place. best for private fishing. Will comeback when I get a Vacation again.

Very convenient for downtown activities. It took us less than 15 minutes to get to any of our venues we were going to. The coffee shop on the next block had great coffee and breakfast and an easy walk to get to. We also were able to enjoy the park a little bit. The house is very cute and comfortable. I didnt realize Houston Ave. was such a busy street but with the fencing and gate it did not bother us. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice stay. Very clean and spacious. Close to everything we wanted to do. Host was fast at responding when we needed the AC adjusted. Will definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Stefan an Hopes place! The place had everything we needed and the hosts were super communicative and got us anything we needed that the house didn’t have. We felt super safe and the area was super convenient for our work trip. Highly recommend staying here especially for long stays.. it really started to feel like our second home.

This was the perfect location for our wedding down the street. Jamie was a great host. Looking forward to using her home again

Evon's home is a perfect getaway for a couple. It is comfortable and well furnished. Evon graciously stocked the home with some essential groceries and other goodies, saving us from making a trip to a grocery store. There are several grocery and big box stores within a few miles of the home if needed. Also there are many restaurants and nightclubs nearby for anyone seeking an enjoyable night scene. It was nice to come back to a clean, quiet home for relaxation after a fun day of activities. I have stayed in Airbnb's where the pictures were misleading, but that is not the case with Evon's home. It is a very nice place that matches the pictures and description. I highly recommend this home.

Thanks! My family had a lovely stay here. It felt right like home. We regularly hung out in one of the two living areas watching Netflix, eating, or working. The couches are all very comfy, and I found the bed in the back bedroom also very comfortable with several pillow options. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook several meals, including oil and seasonings- thanks! The hosts quickly responded when we had a couple questions. It was easy to get in to the house and it was the EASIEST CHECKOUT EVER!! I also appreciated the willingness of the hosts to let me reschedule by shifting a week (from illness) right before check-in. The only con I can think of is that it *might be a little complicated to get in/out during mornings or afternoons when the nearby school is in session. (But there was no school scheduled during my stay, so I'm simply guessing.)

Thanks for a very comfortable stay @ your Airbnb. Would recommend it to anyone who visits Houston.The place is ideally located, within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. Having a Garage and laundry facility was super helpful . Trent is very responsive. We had a plumbing issue. Trent fixed it at the earliest. Thank you Trent for an enjoyable experience.

Ms Lystra was a great host. Friendly and kind. She gave us a personal tour upon arrival which made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The place was very clean and spacious. We will definitely rebook again if we are ever in the Houston area. Thank you for an awesome stay Ms Lystra!

I can’t say enough about our stay and the hosts! They made a very special trip extraordinary!! The home is beautiful, safe, and a Shangri-La to me!! Placement of rooms are wonderful and afforded privacy with other guests. The saltwater pool was wonderful and with shade from trees made it very comfortable on hot, summer days! Communications with hosts felt personal and was much appreciated. This was my first VRBO / Airbnb experience and what a wonderful one it was!! Had to leave a day early due to the hurricane, yet again, the host expressed genuine concern for us. Very clean and comfortable! It was hard to leave!

Everything was great and look exactly like the photos. We enjoyed the entire trip especially the house and pool. My favorite part was the separate room (pool house). It gave my fiance and I a lot of privacy and peace away from the rest of the crew but close enough to make sure everyone was safe and supervised. The only thing is the shower in the pool house is very small but there are 2 other full bathrooms with showers and tubs so that’s nothing to be concerned about but worth mentioning. I would definitely stay again and again and recommend this host to anyone looking for a nice home to stay while in town. The neighborhood was magnificent. It was so quiet and peaceful so I do understand and respect their 10pm-8am noise ordinance that’s listed. We were able to safely walk to the stores 2 blocks away and drive to multiple stores within 10 minutes away.

When we needed a place to stay and work from home for 3 weeks while our floors were refinished and house shown/inspected, we were nervous about that long of a stay but Ella’s home was perfect - clean, comfortable, well appointed and well located. Close to everything, we enjoyed walking the cute Sunset Heights neighborhood. Ella is a wonderful and responsive host and we would definitely recommend her place!!

Wonderful home! Mark’s home is a great place to stay in the city. Extremely comfortable and spacious! The neighborhood is very quiet. It’s easy to get to and perfectly located. I really could move in permanently! The teens enjoyed having their own space as the home is very spacious. Mark is a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating. Thanks Mark for your hospitality. We will definitely look to stay again soon.

I have stayed at several AirBnbs as I travel to Houston every 3 months. This one is my new favorite! I stayed here for 4 weeks and it was perfect! I wouldn't have changed a thing. The decor was lovely, good quality furniture, comfy bed with good quality bedding, good shower pressure with a nice soaker tub. The pool area is beautiful and was a nice place to relax. I'm from Michigan so being able to swim in October was wonderful lol. I love my home in Michigan, but I must admit I'm kinda going to miss this lovely apartment. This was one of the pricier places I've stayed at but it was worth it...I loved it!
