House vacation rentals in Hood River County

We had a wonderful time. The resort has an outdoor pool, a hot tub and sauna. Our unit was equipped with an espresso coffee machine, an Electric Crepe Maker & Griddle that we used for pancakes, beach towels, laundry detergent, etc. Nothing was missing, except for coffee filters. We felt right at home with added comfort and peace. We can't wait to go back!

This is a true gem, and the lodging was even better than the photos! We had a late arrival and the process was super smooth, thanks to our very responsive and helpful host. The location is perfectly tucked away next to beautiful pine trees and running water. Loved that it was also easy to walk to the restaurants and shops in town. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you're visiting Mt. Hood.

This is the closest you will come to ski-in, ski-out on Mt. Hood; very convenient short walk to the tubing hill and Ski Bowl. I appreciated that the condo was so well stocked with household items that you may have forgotten to bring; foil, plastic wrap, spices, cleaning supplies. Truly, it was the best stocked condo I've ever rented. They also had a wonderful supply of children's toys, sleds, games and even a play area for little ones. We had a great time and many thanks for all the thoughtful and considerate amenities.

Golden poles is fantastic! Can’t beat the location. It was easy to get to both Timberline and Meadows, unfortunately Ski Bowl wasn’t open for this trip due to the snow. We enjoyed being able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, and hiking trails. Happy also to have a garage available for easy parking. We will be back!

Beautiful condo with a perfect view of little Collins Lake. Nice and close to everything, quiet, very clean (in fact, the carpet in the master bedroom was still damp when we arrived so it's obvious they cleaned those too!), well-stocked, easy check-in, etc. Love that the unit is dog-friendly too so we were able to bring our best bud. We'd definitely stay here again.

A tranquil basement apartment with tons of natural light, you will forget it's a basement apartment. The space had everything we needed, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and communicative. My husband, I, and a friend used this as a basecamp for the Gorge Waterfalls 100 K. The beds were comfortable, plenty of linens, and the kitchen had all that we needed. We will stay here again if we are in the area.

Beautiful spot nestled away in the trees. The place is gorgeous with quality construction and a nice, open layout. Hot tub and Sauna were excellent.

Amanda's place was perfect for myself and two teen kids for spring break! Minutes to the mountain to ski, walking distance to coffee, pizza place (delicious), a DQ and a short drive (2 miles or less) to a grocery store if needed. I had brought games, but Amanda had several as well as there is no TV which was kind of nice to be honest! The hot tub got used at least twice daily after skiing too.

This place is great! Very roomy with 3 bedrooms and plenty of space in the main room and kitchen. Andrew was extremely responsive and communicative. I would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hood River! Julie was a very responsive host and clearly committed to ensuring everything is great at her place. Perfect space, loved the views, kitchen was well-appointed, comfortable beds, very easy living. Just note the driveway, which is quite steep; we couldn't use it for either one of our cars.

Such a cute place and so thoughtfully put together! The kitchen is well equipped and I’ve never been at an Air BnB with 4 different coffee making methods (espresso machine, French press, pour over and regular coffee maker)! Plus a milk frother! The coffee bar was incredible! Also the great views of Mt Hood from the kitchen window! Would definitely stay here again!

My sisters and I booked this for a girls weekend getaway. It was great. Not only does Dustin have a sauna in the backyard, which we used, but it is also only 2 blocks away from The Society Hotel and Spa. We were able to walk to the spa and soak in their pools and hot tub (you do have to book a time to do this), and then it was just a short drive into town for some great restaurants and a few little shops. The deck overlooks the river so that was nice to sit out on the deck and enjoy the view. There are the train tracks along the river, but once inside the house they are not very loud. The place has two bedrooms and a bathroom on the main level, and then downstairs in the basement there is a whole little apartment with another bedroom and bathroom. This is great if you are looking for a fun getaway. You also have Hood River right across the bridge. Dustin did a great job on all the updates in the house with modern touches. We would book again

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The quiet peaceful farm welcomed us along with Kika’s daughter who entertained my own kids for a bit. The misty fog enveloped us and the toot toots of the train sung us their sad songs. We even saw a herd of elk one morning! We loved this stay!

We would certainly stay here again in the future. The house is absolutely beautiful and we were very comfortable there. The beds are extremely comfortable, the spaces are free of clutter, and the location is quiet but still close to downtown Hood River. Highly recommend!

The place is gorgeous, brand new and extremely modern. Loved our stay. Super close to town and easy in and out to the main highway. Had pretty much everything you need - modern appliances - great comfy beds and a fabulous two head shower in the master which was kind of marvelous! Loved it!

The six of us enjoyed the house for nearly a week. The house is spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. It is a family house (not a full-time vacation rental), so the kitchen is well equipped, and it feels like a home. Highly recommended, and we would love to visit again.

Our favorite feature of the property was the beautiful, tranquil rainforest. The lush greenery, with moss covering the ground and hanging from the trees, created a truly magical atmosphere. We loved the architecture surrounding the hot tub and sauna. The natural stonework of the sauna, paired with the winding, moss-covered paths and branches, enhanced the overall ambiance. The game house was a fun bonus that kept everyone entertained. The main house was spacious, offering plenty of cozy spaces to gather and relax. The large dining table was ideal for family meals and games. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to navigate, and we particularly appreciated the heated tile floors in the bathrooms. One suggestion is to update the household electronics. We would have appreciated being able to cast specific streamed media content onto the television with surround sound for movie night. Nonetheless, the property was fantastic, and we had an unforgettable stay.

We had a fantastic stay. What a location and VIEW! We spent each morning sitting on the deck drinking our coffee and each evening sitting on the deck just looking at the view. We spent the last night lying on the deck looking at the millions of stars. Amy's home is a highly functional, well-laid-out living space. It offers privacy for those who want to chill and read, a spot for those who want to chill and chat, and a HUGE yard for those who want to wander. So many things to look at in the yard. The kitchen offers anything you might need to make a meal. We would (and hopefully will) stay again.

I would highly recommend this lovely home. We stayed there with our daughter, son in law and 4 teenage grandchildren. There was plenty of space. The house was well stocked with everything. My grandsons loved playing air hockey. The hot tub was enjoyed after a long day of skiing !! We were able to walk to restaurants and had a short drive to the ski slopes. We had a wonderful time!!!

My family truly enjoyed staying in this very comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. The owners were quick to respond with any questions we might have. We would definitely stay here again.
