Beautiful cabin exactly as pictured. very clean. good for couples getaway. more than 2 people would be a tight fit. Close to the skiing and village. Hosts were proactive and in contact if needed. We would stay here again when we come back to Big Bear

The perfect home to go to when you’re trying getaway from the busy city life. My wife, our friends n family had an amazing time there star gazing and enjoying the peace and quiet. The home was very clean and was big enough to accommodate the 10 of us. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back sometime this summer!!!

Truly one of the best airbnb stays I have had. Brian’s unique desert home comfortably accommodated our multigenerational family, including our baby (14 months) and grandparents (late 70s). The open layout was really nice and allowed us all to sprawl out and move around easily while being together. Super peaceful surroundings and pretty quick access to Joshua Tree attractions. Will recommend this home to friends for sure!

First of all Marc is so nice and responsive and this review is coming from someone who lives by the beach and isn’t used to mountain living. I gave it 5 stars bc it seems like a typical Big Bear house. Not fancy. Cute decor. This was a great house for a *short* stay. We were here for 2 nights and made dinner 1 of the nights. I wouldn’t have wanted to cook here more than 1 night because the kitchen wasn’t great (to me!). It has what you need but the pans were old and scratched up, the knives were very dull, and it wasn’t organized. There were 2 cabinets that both had random spices in it. Olive oil would have been nice but luckily the dinner we made didn’t need it. For cooking just one dinner it was fine. The driveway was scary for us. The heat situation wasn’t the best for us but we assume this is how most Big Bear houses are. Note- we weren’t cold- it was just an old school heat situation. The bunk room was perfect for our 3 kids. Overall this did the trick for a 2 night stay!

I came with my family of 7. We all fit so great. My first thoughts initially are how spacious and clean this cabin is. We loved all the details throughout the home of wood and bear. The rooms were big and the upstairs was definitely toasty. Just figure out temperature that fits you, the first night I realized it did get hot but afterwards I figured it out and had a better stay also contact the hosts if you have any questions. They were attentive. We went snowboarding the parking for it was literally down the street. Honestly we loved our stay, the kitchen had everything we needed to make it our own and cook us a delicious breakfast. The hosts thought of every detail and would def stay here again.

We loved the privacy and quiet of JK’s home, both outside and inside, and that you can walk to town if you want. We visited with two friends and the home was very quiet, even when others were awake in the house. The back porch was beautiful and peaceful, even with the close proximity to Utah Trail. The home itself offered lots of activities — pool, darts, board games, and an organ if you want to test your piano skills. The front porch is peaceful too, offering a great view of people driving in and out of JTNP. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

We had an amazing time relaxing at the green haus. The home itself and the scenery are incredible! They have a really cool collection of books and there are tons of thoughtful details throughout the home. This space is really special. I spend a lot of time in the high desert and did not realize this pocket of heaven existed. The location and home is truly special and extremely beautiful. Stunning views. The home is saturated with the most beautiful light and is impeccably done- design-wise and amenity wise. The hosts have thought of everything that a guest may desire. Even cold mugs in the freezer! I kept smiling thinking, oh! They thought of this too… Super thoughtful spaces and items. Lovely linens. The outdoor pool and spa area is a dream. Private and peaceful. Extremely clean. Thank you for having us in your magical space!

Our family had an amazing stay at the cabin. It was a perfect space for 2 adults 3 children a baby and a dog. The cabin had all the essentials we needed, even with the unexpected snowfall, we were equipped with everything to enjoy our stay.

We had a very quick but enjoyable stay! The unit was as described, and James was very communicative and helpful. If you're skiing at Snow Summit, the location is pretty heard to beat. Would happily stay there again!

Bobs home was incredibly clean, loved how the property was set back on the lot slightly, made for a nice environment to hang out and enjoy that isnt right up on the street. I absolutely loved that the property was dog friendly. I had my pup with me and he enjoyed it just as much as I was able to, he felt right at home.

Our second time staying at mikes place and we always have an amazing stay my dog loves staying here as well as my kids . He makes our trip enjoyable by having a key pad . He’s very responsive whenever you need him . See you next year ! Thanks Mike

Christina’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Cozy little place with a beautiful view. Christina was a great host and very accommodating and so sweet. We accidentally damaged her electric water heater and I wanted to reimburse her, but she insisted it was OK! Definitely will booked this place again sometime in March

I cannot say enough about the experience that my wife and I enjoyed in this beautiful and unique property. From the time of preparation to the time of arrival and departure, the hosts were absolutely wonderful in every respect. This would have to go down as our single best Airbnb stay that we've ever had. When I look at the experience we had with the host, the property itself, the location, and the joy we had in staying near such a beautiful national park as Joshua tree. I hope we can come back again next year and relive this adventure!

This place is a gem! We had a lovely time here. The property is great, beautiful pool and outdoor space. The house was so cute and cozy. We had everything we needed right there! And the neighborhood is awesome, the house is walking distance to 29 Palms Inn and several other local businesses, and very close to the park. Ron was a great host, very responsive and kind. Check in and check out was very simple. We had a marvelous time and we’ll certainly be back!

The holiday house is the perfect remote getaway. You'll find everything you need to make an amazing meal in the kitchen. You can get lost in the beautiful art all around the gardens and inside the house. The 360° views of the landscape are absolutely breathtaking and the night sky is otherworldly. This is by far my favorite stay out in the high desert.

The accommodation is beautifully furnished and has a fantastic view of Yucca Valley. Nothing was missing. I recommend the accommodation!

Moasis was such an amazing place! Super flexible and communicative prior to booking and personally called me on check-in day to make sure everything was perfect. The home was beautiful and clean and exactly as it was in the photos. Would absolutely stay there again and recommend to friends!

If you’re seeking an authentic J-tree experience, the Rockbound Oasis is as real as it gets! This is not a staged, cheaply-constructed corporate property managed by a hospitality group; this is a real J-tree home that is special and loved by its owners. The home has an interesting history that dates back to the middle part of last century. Its architecture/design was certainly way ahead of its time. The home was built to harmonize perfectly with the rock formations that characterize this particular area of J-tree and make it so ethereal. The interior space has a charm, warmth, comfort and soul that cannot be achieved in the sterile, white, corporate boxes that seem to have cropped up like dandelions within the last decade or so. The grounds were not designed to emulate the surrounding area, they are an integral part of the surrounding area. This is great place to reflect and experience the desert energy and power. Veronica is a one-of-a-kind host whose hospitality is unparalleled.

Spent three wonderful days in the Joshua Tree area to escape the busy pace of LA, and this place was perfect for a relaxing retreat. The house is cozy and well-maintained, offering a peaceful atmosphere after a day of exploring. It's also in a great location—near good restaurants, charming little shops, and just a short drive from Joshua Tree National Park. Heike was a fantastic host, always quick to respond to any questions we had and making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable base to explore Joshua tree/ Yucca Valley area. I’d definitely stay here again!
