Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Holmfirth

There were 10 adults and 5 dogs staying. The building, a converted barn, is beautiful. Everything that we needed was available for us and was just as described. There is plenty of parking space, the home is well stocked with games and the kitchen was fully equipped. The garden was secure and perfect for the dogs. It has great views, and is surrounded by walkable countryside. It has a genuine feeling of being a home. We arrived on Boxing Day to find that the hosts had made a special trip from Buckinghamshire to prepare the house for us. We all had an amazing couple of days and would recommend the property and hosts to anyone.

Me and my partner headed here for the weekend to celebrate his birthday. We had such a great time, the chalet was spotless, it's in a great location with lovely restaurants and bars only 10 mins away in an Uber. We arrived to Christmas chocolates and prosecco which was a nice touch. The hot bath was also great, it was a bit too hot at first to get in so we waited until it cooled down. Overall I would recommend and a nice weekend relax and getaway

A real feeling of ‘home’ Shirley greeted us at the beautifully quaint school house and showed us around, even asking our bread and milk preference before we arrived. There was everything we could need and more. Bed was really comfortable. Would highly recommend and we wouldn’t hesitate in returning here to complete some walks around the local area

I had a wonderful stay at Serenity Apartments Suite 20, Poplar Court. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it the perfect base for my visit to Bradford. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality of the host, Sadiya. She was incredibly proactive and friendly, exuding that unmistakable northern charm that immediately put me at ease. Sadiya went above and beyond by providing plenty of useful recommendations that made exploring the area effortless and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Serenity Apartments to anyone visiting Bradford. The combination of excellent accommodation and a host who genuinely cares about her guests made for a memorable stay. Dad, daughter and myself traveled from Bristol to visit my sister. After a long journey we opened the front door to a beautiful lounge , we were greeted with a festive tree and unexpected welcome pack.. All the extra touches and details were so special. The bathroom is stunning and the beds were unbelievably comfortable . We walked around the park. We loved reading the journey of how this wonderful property evolved. Adam and Sally were outstanding hosts, by far the best airbnb i have ever stayed in. I cannot recommend this property enough. The neighbours are so friendly and the ambiance that Adam and Sally have created made this a stay we will never forget. We will be re booking for 2025.

just come back from a 4 day stay at this beautiful cottage ,it was very clean and spacious had everything u would need , it was my husband's birthday whilst we was there and on arrival was a Cake,candle and a bottle of wine which was a nice surprise, we enjoyed sitting In front of the log fire on cold nights , was private if you wanted to be ,Geoff came round a few times to see if we was ok wich we didn't mind as he's a lovely man told us some stories,showed us the garden which is lovely and the sheep,he organised us a taxie to go out one night (must give a mention to daz the driver gave us a tour round ,) their is 2 nice local pubs with good food, we also went to the cricket club just round corner for a quiz night everyone one was so welcoming. their is also a good bus service with stop close by as we don't drive was easy to use it. John was very good communicating with us a good host had fab sleep bed was warm and cosy all in all 5 stars from us hopefully return highly recommend

Beautiful house to stay in. Even some Christmas decorations put up, which made our Christmas stay extra special. Living room is massive! Which gave our toddler/pre walker lots of room to play! House is very well presented and clean. Lovely quiet location, didn’t hear a sound from anyone at night, not even a car go past. Would definitely love to stay here again when we visit family close by to the area. 10/10. Thank you so much for a lovely Christmas break.

A lovely stay in a beautiful cottage. Very clear directions which were much appreciated as it's quite remote. The cottage was cosy and well equipped and we enjoyed the log burner very much during the storm! Very close to Hebden Bridge and beautiful scenery. Definitely recommend it!
