Fantastic stay in Revell street. Lovely homely property. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Table tennis table very handy when weather was bad. 5 mins walk into town with plenty of shops, cafe and restaurants. Lovely walks along the seafront. Would really recommend this lovely well maintained property.

We stayed at Kahu’s Nest with family visiting from the UK. There was plenty of room for everyone and we all loved the location on the beach. Just a short walk into town, board games if it’s raining and super comfortable beds - highly recommended!

Lovely, easily accessible spot. The large living area and games collection were enjoyed by all. Claire recommended a local spot to visit which was a highlight of the trip. A great stay.

Nice 2 bedroom house. Room 1 has a double bed. Room 2 has a double bed and a sofa bed. There is also a sofa bed in living room. Bathroom is nice with hot water although water pressure is a bit low, especially if using the washing machine and/or kitchen tap. Host provided 2 clothes horses to dry clothes after washing. Private driveway to park car. Overall a nice place to stay.

Claire could not have been a more gracious, caring and positive host. She was incredibly responsive, gave tremendous advice and just made us feel right at home. Even her suggestions for where to stop on our way to our next stop were perfect! The property itself is a work of art. So creatively and impeccably designed, amenities were all easily accessible. Highly recommend an evening in the hot tub looking out on the beach! Walkable to town and just breathtaking views around every corner of the home. Would recommend this as a stop for anyone traveling with hundreds of miles of Hokitika. Thank you again Claire....we only hope we can come back to visit for longer next time!

We had a great stay at Claire’s place. She is a great host and communicator. The house was extremely comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our visit to Hokitika and surrounding areas.

What a special place. A true home from home. Beautifully and uniquely decorated with everything you could need for a short or a long stay. Loved having coffee in the morning looking out to the sea. I will definitely be back again.

We absolutely loved this cottage. Beautifully renovated and appointed. Its about a 20 minute easy walk into town. the online instruction booklet is very detailed and includes lies of great dining options. Dulcie's fish and chips was the best. We spent 4 nights here and found plenty if things to do. Claire was very responsive and a great host. We highly recommend this cottage.

What an amazing location, beautifully decorated and an amazing home! Our family loved this place! Right on the beach, the views are amazing, easy walk to town/restaurants, great access to the beach, plenty of garden space for our wee fur baby to enjoy plus a secret wee kids area (total surprise), super comfy furniture (couch and beds) and all so clean and neat. The decor has been well thought through and everything feels like great quality - from the beautiful curtains, to the cutlery, plates, pans and glassware! Small things but to us, just shows the thought that has gone into this place and it made cooking in this kitchen so enjoyable! The linen and cushions are all so lovely as well. Having plenty of ice on arrival was also another great touch. Totally recommend this place. Our 5 days here so was relaxing and easy - a perfect beach retreat place. Thanks for such a great stay!

Lovely cheap, cheerful and cozy little pop top. Good kitchen set up. Spa next to pop top which is shared with other guests. Great hosts!
