Vacation rentals with breakfast in Hokitika

Fantastic area and wonderful backyard to sit out and read. Amy was kind, responsive and made my stay feel quite welcome. Just a heads up for directions you're better to type in shellback road so you don't end up lost like myself.

Very close to town and Hokitika Gorge. Lovely homemade granola and cream for coffee or tea.

Stylish and comfortable, peaceful location and great host. Our morning walk on the isolated beach looking at Mt Cook in the distance will never be forgotten. Beautiful place.

Had a lovely stay here, the place was bright and roomy with an excellent stocked kitchen and clean bathrooms. Seeing the glowworms in the evening was a treat.

My family of four loved our stay. My two girls had a blast playing with the cat. Every morning and night we utilized the hot tub. We would recommend Janine’s place.

Carol's place has almost everything we needed. WiFi, TV, complete kitchen utensils for cooking, fridge and chiller for food storage, nice comfy big beds for each rooms, complete bathroom sets, liquid or solid bath soaps, shampoo and conditioners. Clothes iron, vacuum cleaner. parking space. Suggested Hokitika activities and restaurants. Name it! It's all in the house except the laundry. I reckoned Carol and her behalf are well experienced AirBnB hosts and it's really worth the money renting their house. Personally, what I like is their flexibility with our check out as we needed to go to Sunday church. Thanks Carol and your behalf for a very satisfying stay at your place.

My wife and I had a great experience staying at Adrienne and Paul’s place! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how nice and clean the space was. The space was exactly as described—comfortable, well-equipped, with an amazing view of the ocean and the mountains. Adrienne and Paul were responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The location was perfect, with restaurants and attractions just a short drive away. We had a great experience and would recommend this space if you are looking for a nice stay in Greymouth/Barrytown.

Enjoyed our stay at Justine's in Lake Brunner. Lovely place with an amazing view and an awesome backyard to just chill and unwind. Had everything we needed. Justine was a great host, friendly and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to others for sure :)

Nice accommodation with plenty of room, inside and out and peaceful surroundings. Two minute walk to the pebble beach and perfect for watching the sunset.

I had a great stay here! It was really clean and felt new. The bed was VERY comfortable and the room was completely dark at night (important to me). I think the shower was the best pressure I've ever encountered - I felt like I got a massage (you can tone it down). Kitchen was well equipped. Very quiet and easy location - can park and walk around town. Wifi was great. I definitely recommend it. And Wayne was so friendly and helpful!

There are 2 reasons to come there, first to discover the wonderfull area around Arthur's pass, secondly to meet Helen and chat about travels! Helen's house is really nice for a relaxing time and Helen is a warm, caring and inspiring person.

Just when I thought our Airbnb experiences could not be beaten there was Colleen and Trevor. They made us feel like family whilst still retaining discreet sensitivity to our privacy. Nothing was too much effort. Home baked goodies too! Beautiful Lilly the dog has been well trained to offer you as much or as little attention as you would like. We could not rate this stay more highly and hope to meet up with Colleen and Trevor again one day.

Our stay at this charming farmhouse was a memorable experience! The property is set in a peaceful location, perfect for animal lovers. We had a great time meeting all the friendly animals, including guinea pigs, a horse, a pig, goats, sheep, lovebirds, and chickens. The kids absolutely loved feeding and interacting with them, and it was a joy to watch them learn about farm life. The farmhouse itself was cozy and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids' play area was a huge hit, offering plenty of space for them to run around and have fun. Would definitely recommend this place for families looking for a unique and enjoyable getaway!

Even though we only spend 2nights at Carol and Deans home we enjoyed interacting with both of them. Dean Was very helpful and had a lot of very good suggestions what to do even during a rainy day. If you are Spaichingen a cozy place to stay book your nights here in Hokitika only a few steps away from the ocean and the very peaceful City. Thank you!

This was a dream stay. Colleen and Trevor were the perfect hosts. They even gave us some fresh veg from their delightful garden. Plus we couldn’t have been happier with the room and house.

Colleen and Trevor immediately made us feel at home. The best way I can describe how we felt is to say that it was like visiting relatives or old friends, even though we had never met before. They warmly welcomed us into their lovely home and we felt completely relaxed, from our arrival until they waved us off. It really was home from home. Nothing was too much trouble and they gave us lots of helpful insight into how best to get to know and enjoy the beautiful town of Hokitika and its surrounding area. They are true gems! Karen has subcontracted hosting duties to the lovely Shelly & Greg. They were solicitous, generous with the deep knowledge of NZ and fantastic conversationalists. Shelly made us an amazing dinner and we really connected. The property is well maintained but a little rough in spots. The hot tube was in need of service - but we still enjoyed a restoring soak! We would recommend any property hosted by these two sets of steady hands!

Sue and Don are the most generous hosts! When we arrived we met thier wonderful dogs, Sue showed us around and offered beverages and a snack! We had access to a beautiful bedroom ( a very comfortable bed with soft linens) large bathroom and a separate TV room with comfy chairs and all the channels imaginable!!!! Breakfast was perfect! A beautiful spread and access to coffee/tee and milk and juice in thier fridge! More than enough! We loved staying in thier beautiful home with amazing gardens!
